Take "Original" Out of Name

I used to buy Hunt's Manwich for my children when they were young - my family enjoyed it. Since I haven't had it in a few years and since my husband liked it, I bought it to make an easy, quick dinner. Just prepared it. Not the "original" at all! The recipe has changed and is not appealing. So I went to the internet and googled "suggestions as to how to improve taste of Manwich" which lead me to this site. I would have been better off making my own as I have done before.

Was really excited to try this, I never had a sloppy Joe before. This was a real let down. It just tasted like plain alphabet soup minus the pasta. Wasn't filling either.

Since I was a kid this was the all time best sauce for manwiches ! Paired with bakery fresh buns it makes the best sloppy joes and lots for the family!

Sloppy Joes Have Made Their Way into the 21st Century!!

I love this product. For a quick throw together dinner, it can't get easier than this. My son could eat the whole pan if I don't get in to nab some for myself!! And it's available at our local Dollaramas so works out to a cheap meal too, important when you're on a strict budget. Welcome to the 21st century sloppy joes!!

quick meal?

Do you need a quick , simple , but pleasing meal? Try this manwich , it has such a nice meat, tomato flavor to it that it just turns into an awesome sandwich.We serve these on hamburger buns with fries as a side and my kids will eat the entire bowl.

as kid my mom would use manwitch. it was great for sloopy joes. we had not gotten it in a long time. so I said why don't we use it again. this time it was really gross.

The taste is perfect. I could go for 3 or 4 of them for sure
We also sometimes make Sloppy Joe Pizza. So instead of putting the mix on a bun you put It on a pizza dough and top with cheese - SO good.

I used to have this all the time years ago because an ex boyfriend always wanted sloppy joes . So I would purchase lean ground beef , fry it up , drain grease and add a can of Hunts Manwich to the meat and let it simmer . Then you add it to a bun and it's a sloppy joe . Super easy . Its a thick tomato based sauce for sloppy joes and it's really cheap . You can find it at grocery stores or Walmart .

Sloppy Joe's are a major comfort food from my childhood, and this is the best mix for making them in my opinion. I have made the sauce from scratch and I have made them with Manwich, and both taste exactly the same. If I need to make a quick meal that actually tastes delicious, I will add Manwich, ground beef, and buns to my grocery list.

Manwich is one of the cheapest most delicious meals ever!
Prep time is maybe 2O minutes, and you can even make homemade manwich from scratch if this stuff is too tomato-ey for your taste
