If you haven't tried a banana bag, you are losing too many bananas! Since my husband and I are empty nesters we don't go through bananas like we used to. We also live in the country so getting groceries is something you plan ahead. We like to have bananas in hand but found too many had to go in the garbage. Who wants to eat brown mushy bananas? The banana bag is a yellow insulated drawstring bag. Put your bananas in, pull the cord and store in the fridge. Your bananas might have a brownish look to the outside but the inside is perfect. I have kept them up to 3 weeks!
