Great product

Fantastic product, I love John freida anyway and a shampoo which helps hide those sneaky greys and keeps my hair soft, shiny and manageable is just great! Used with the conditioner and blow dry mouse my hair looked great!

Partially blended- almost there

A warning to all users, if you haven't used any of the John Frieda dark hair shampoos before you won't realise this product has colouring in and will get everywhere so use carefully and ensure you thoroughly cleanse the skin/hands afterwards, you'll know when you haven't rinsed the product enough. It is worth it though, after a few washes I did notice a difference but do not expect miracles!

Colours my hands, not my hair

I gave this shampoo a go but every time it stained my hands and nails, more than my hair. I generally need a detangling shampoo/conditioner but this left my hair full of volume (my hair doesn't need encouragement) and very tangled.

Definitely defied my greys.

When I first got this shampoo, I was a bit sceptical whether it would combat my greys!! I’m not silver fox grey, just the odd grey hair popping through.
Anyway after the first wash, didn’t really notice much of a difference, after continuous usage I noticed a big difference.
Streak-free hair now!!!

Amazing

This stuff is great, used with the conditioner it covered my grey hairs along my parting and hairline. I was due dyeing my hair but can hold off a bit longer now.

I jumped the first time as I thought I had dyed my hands when applying, But I didn't.

Really wish it didn't have to look like melted chocolate though.

Really cleaning

Really enjoyed how glossy this made my hair feel and I feel like it did madly my greys I love the fact that i also smells nice as for me most shampoos like this smell awful! This is definitely a staple now

Smells great

To me this shampoo smells just like chocolate sauce and that is the best bit about using it! Sadly for me it did very little if anything to colour my silvery hairs but it did leave my hair feeling clean so thats good

Definitely works to blend colour

This is a brown shampoo with a shimmery golden tone to it. On application, it says to use it liberally to achieve a result and leave on for 5 minutes, on the initial wash. I have thick hair so tend to need a lot of product to wash my hair, so this suited me. It foams very well on washing, which I really like. On foaming it does produce a brown foam, but it does not discolour your hands as you might think it will. It has a mild, pleasant, none chemical scent and left my hair feeling very clean once used. I have course, stubborn grey hair above my ears, and I did find that these appeared less obvious after using the three stages, a couple of times, allowing me to wear my hair up with more confidence. Furthermore, I have naturally, very dark brown hair, with a lighter, auburn brown dye at the ends. This product also gave my dyed hair a less harsh tone which I really liked. I got this Shampoo free to test and this is my opinion on this product.

Shampoo doesn't defy grey

This shampoo feels luxurious and cleans the hair well. It is easy to use and lathers well, and while it looks brown it down not stain the skin or the bath.
However after several washes my few grey hairs still seem just as grey - this shampoo has not helped blend them away. It also requires leaving it on for quite a while the first time, and up to three minutes each wash, which is a big time investment, but still does not seem to work.
While it is effective as a regular shampoo, it did not give me the main benefit it claims to give.

Absolutely amazing

Received this for free from yourselves and was blown away by how good it is, my hair is very thick and coarse and my hair is soft and smooth now, also makes greys are slowly blending into my brunette hair, love it
