I have bought this product again as well as the conditioner

Having blonde hair I often find a yellow tinge and have tried other shampoos the promise to get rid of the brassiness. They do as promised but leave my hair feeling like straw. I was sceptical about this but I needn't have worried. Left my hair feeling soft and easy to comb and style.removed all brassiness. I only left on my hair a few minutes but would leave longer if I wanted the platinum look. Works best with the conditioner. Cant get a bit messy if you squeeze out too much but a great shampoo.

Great results

I have used purple shampoo before to tone down brassy tones and always been happy enough with them, they all been pretty much the same.

What I like most about this one was it was noticeably different from the first instance.
This was like using a regular shampoo, it lathered up really well, ones I had previously used I find didn’t later up too well and you don’t feel like your gettin a proper wash, but the John Freida was different it actually was cleaning your hair at the same time.

Another thing I noticed was, other brands have discoloured my skin, nails and my bathroom tiles even after rinsing immediately.
John Freida did not do this as all, I didn’t have any purple in sight after using.

It really was an overall winner for me and I hadn’t even seen the results yet.

Results - yes I noticed a difference after the first wash, the blonde in my hair and definitely toned down and looked more ask than it did brassy, overall it’s a great shampoo, giving great results. Very happy with this.

amazing shampoo

i was so happy when i got this to try. having bleached hair can go abit discoloured but using this shampoo has made my hair even out and cancelled out the brassy tones. love when you apply the shampoo the purple does not stain the hands like some other brands do. received compliments on this at work when using it that my hair looks healthy.

Best purple shampoo

Help get rid of my brassy tones in my blonde hair and now my hair will last so much longer before needing to be coloured again. Such vibrant purple too. Left my bath water purple but didint stain my skin.

Love this shampoo

This is amazing! I decided to leave it on for 3 minutes once I had lathered it up.
My hair smelt beautiful! And once dry I could instantly see the results! My hair looked like a gorgeous light blonde with no odd brassy tones to it!

Fabulous shampoo

This shampoo is absolutely my hair gets really brassy and all looks yellow. I have tried everything to get rid of it and finally have the perfect product. It has left my hair looking beautifully blonde just like when I have had it done in the hairdressers. I can’t recommend this product enough. It will now be my go to shampoo.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shampoo!! I have used the John Freida Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner for years so was excited to try this shampoo!!
I am truly amazed! I noticed a difference straight after the first wash! My hair was noticeably lighter and brighter and had a fabulous shine to it! It makes me want to wash my hair every day!
I would love to try it with the matching conditioner, so that will definitely be my next purchase!

Great for brassy blonde hair!

I really like this shampoo. I’ve used quite a few different purple shampoos and this is definitely one of my favourites. It makes my hair blonder and smells great! I’ve attached a picture to show that my hair is looking a lot fresher after using this shampoo. I will definitely be purchasing this again!

One of the best toning shampoos I've used

I've been various shades of blondes for the past 20 years and always aim to have ashy cool tones. I've tried a number of purple shampoos over the years and found some to be awful and actually leave purple tones in my hair and feeling terrible. When I saw the colour of this shampoo I feared that it might do the same, however I needn't have worried as it is fantastic! On the first application it immediately removed brassy tones and left my hair a great colour and in good condition. I will definitely be using it a once or twice a week to keep my colour fresh.
