Great side dish option

This was a really good side dish pasta option; not too salty or too garlicky but still very flavourful. I really liked this pasta variety, it held up well to cooking and not too soft. I did find that I had to cook the pasta a bit longer than the instructions said; after the five minutes sitting it was still a bit watery but a couple more minutes on heat did the trick. There was a recipe idea on the back with beans and veggies that also looked good! I recieved this Knorr selects for free as part of the Family Rated product review.

Great for a quick weeknight side!

I received Knorr Selects Roasted Garlic Pesto with Volanti Pasta free to try from Family Rated in exchange for my honest review. Although the package claims this is ready in 8 minutes, I had to cook it nearly double the amount of time and also add more water because the pasta was not cooked. Still, this was super easy to make and works well if you do not have the time to make your own sauce. I really liked the taste of this and personally did not find it too salty, and unless you hate pesto or garlic, you will probably love the intense flavour of both in this product. I would pair this side with protein, most likely chicken or perhaps shrimp. The portions are on the smaller side but it will still serve 2 as a side dish. I like that it has no preservatives or artificial flavours!

Super Tasty

Oh this was super tasty, I really really enjoyed it. Nice flavour and aroma! I’m a new fan of incorporating pesto into dishes and this was perfect. Nice hints of garlic and pesto, the volanti wheat based pasta was soft and just enough. This is just enough for me, but my boyfriend would need more Knorr! Lol. Delicious, quick and easy to make.

Fast meal

Knorr Selects Roasted Garlic Pesto with Volani Pasta is a great easy meal.
It seemed that required a little longer boiling time than indicated on the poackage for pasta to be nice and soft, but overall it had an amazing garlic smell and a good taste. I am going to try it again!

Easy pasta meal when you are pressed for time

This is one of 3 Knorr meals that I got to try for free. It is actually my first time cooking these pre-made Knorr packets. I find that it is really simple and fast since you don’t have to worry about making a sauce to go with your pasta. At first, I did find that my sauce is runny even after cooking it for longer than what the instruction said, but when I cook the second packet, it seemed fine. If you are really pressed on time, this is an excellent way to make your pasta. Otherwise, I would still prefer buying my own pasta and cooking it from scratch and make you own sauce. The texture of the pasta just doesn’t taste the same as some of the store bought pasta. The roasted garlic pesto sauce was good but I did find it a bit salty. You would definitely need to have some proteins to go with it.

A delicious side!

I was selected to try Knorr Selects Roasted Garlic Pesto with Volanti Pasta. This has got to be one of my most favourite product review opportunities!

First off, YUM! I was so pleased with the taste of this delicious pasta. I am a huge pesto fan and this did not disappoint. Flavour was on point and I loved the sauce! The fact the recipe only calls for water and olive oil was a bonus. Really appreciated the fact I didn't need to add any dairy or butter/margarine. Two thumbs way up!

This was also super easy to make. It took hardly any effort to prepare and was on the table in no time. I decided on bbq'd pork chops and oven yam fries for dinner, this pasta was such a great side!

Overall I am loving this new product and will purchase again. My family all really enjoyed it! Thank you Family Rated for this product review opportunity. I'm sold! #gotitfree

Tasty side dish

This was a great side to a quick and easy meal. It was very convenient, easy to make, and complimented the roasted chicken I picked up for supper. It was very flavourful and the pasta was a fun shape. I'd like to try some of the recipes that are suggested on the package (via internet link).

Excellent Side Dish

I have not seen these in store yet so I was excited to try. I was not familar with the type of pasta but prepared it per the instructions. I served it with some sausages. A hit!!

Delicious!

I received this package of Knorr Roasted Garlic Pesto pasta from family rated to try for free. At first glance, I really liked the packaging, the picture on the front looks really appetizing. It was very easy to make but I did notice that there wasn’t much water needed for the package. So, my only complaint is that it makes barely enough for two people. The package definitely needs to have more in it. The finished product tastes so good. It has a great flavour and the creaminess is perfect.

Easy Peasy Garlic Pesto

I received a package of garlic pesto with volanti pasta free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club #gotitfree

I enjoyed how quick and easy it was to make the pasta, and that Knorr is dedicated to leaving out preservatives and artificial colours and flavours in their products. I was impressed that you only needed to add olive oil and water as usually their products require milk and butter. I liked the taste of the pesto and garlic but found that the sauce never really thickened up despite following the directions and then letting the pasta sit for a longer period after. As a result, the pasta was a bit more watery than I would like which detracted from the taste a bit. However, I still think this would be a great side with chicken, beef, lots of veggies or maybe a simple grilled cheese sandwich, especially if one is able to thicken the sauce perhaps by using less water than directed.

I would recommend these to friends and family based on the ease and quick nature of the preparation and taste. I will probably purchase again and would love to try other variations from the same line.
