A simple side dish but a little bland...

My husband and I tried this dish recently. I received a free sample to try from Chickadvisor. #gotitfree

For a tomato based side dish it was a little salty and bland.

It is easy to make so if you need a quick and easy side dish during a weeknight then this may work for you.

It’s easy for me to use the jar tomato sauce with linguini noodles so I don’t know if I will repurchase this again.

Delicious midweek pasta dish

This dish has my family's Favorite ingredients for a pasta dish. Tomato, basil, and garlic made this meal very tasty, quick to prepare, and a easy clean up afterwards. Pair with a salad and your meal is complete! So glad to get this for free to try before I buy. I recommend this product.

If you like salt then you'll love this!

I received the Knorr Selects Tomato Basil & Garlic with Volanti Pasta to taste and test. The smell was amazing as it was cooking and couldn't wait to try it. Unfortunately I found it a little too salty for my taste, and found the salt kind of overwhelmed the flavors. If you are a salt lover then I would recommend this, if not, I would try one of the other flavors. Personally I don't think I'll buy this specific flavor again.

Not the best

The Knorr Selects, Tomato, Basil & Garlic Volanti Pasta were just ok. They tasted ok, just not a lot of flavour. I wouldn't run out to pick up this one unless I was feeling really lazy and needed something quick, but I would have to add some more flavouring to it. Maybe some extra garlic?

Hard, crunchy and tangy

I was really looking forward to this flavour. I love all things tomato and thought this would be great, sadly it was not.
It took forever to cook and the noodles never got soft, they retained a crunch long after the liquid was gone.
The taste was sweet and a little tangy but almost like ketchup, no hint of basil or garlic.
Portions were also small, feeding 2 people at most.
This is a pass.

A flavorful side dish

This flavorful product complimented the meat balls that I had made to go with it. It was spiced just right and no additional was needed. It is a great side dish for meat but could also just be a stand alone meal.

A great Side dish for your evening meal

I received this product free to try from Family Rated.
Had I seen this package on the shelf, it wouldn't have been my first choice to purchase but after making and eating it, I take that back.
The easy to follow instructions were perfect and in no time, my kitchen was smelling amazing with basil,tomato and garlic. It was lovely.
I served this with roast chicken and it created the perfect side dish to my meal.

Super Tasty Side Dish

Easiest pasta dish I've made from a packet. Basically boiled water and threw the packet in. Everyone loved it and ate it again for lunch the next day.

A fancier sauce than Sidekicks

I #gotitfree from Family Rated and overall was not very impressed by the range. It did not seem to me to be much different or better than the existing Sidekicks but I guess the sauce is different and the pasta shape is fancier. It was ready in a reasonable amount of time, but the sauce felt thin compared to something I'd buy in a jar. A good option if you don't have a jarred sauce, but I don't expect to keep this in stock in my home.
