So flavourful!

I recently received Knorr Selects vegetable bouillon cubes for free from Family Rated Club to try out.

I chose to dissolve a bouillon cube into rice as the water was boiling to add some flavour. My entire family agreed that it was delicious! One family member was overjoyed to find a bouillon cube that had all kinds of vegetable flavour without adding peppers as he has allergies. That makes my life easier, too. I can't wait for fall when the weather cools off and I can start using it to make soups! Yum!

Great taste and not to salty!

I added knorr boillon cube to my home made chicken soup to add a little pizzazz. Gotta say it brought my soup to a whole new level! Not salty and so much flavor. I recommend it to everyone.

Very flavorful bouillon cubes.

I used the Knorr vegetable bouillon cubes to make Beef vegetable soup. It was very flavorful and made the soup amazing tasting. It isn't as simple to use as the bouillon powder, but it is still a stellar product. I would highly recommend this product to boost the flavor in some of your favorite dinners.

Quicker than homemade stock

I received this product free from Family Rated in exchange of my honest review. I tried this bouillon cube a few times and found each time it was difficult for the cube to fully dissolve. I used it to enhance the flavour in my rice, a quick soup and egg noodles. I was impress with the richness of the flavors and how much of a difference it made the rice and pasta taste (vs. Plain water). I would continue to use this product as I was happy with the ingredients and the cost of it. I definitely would recommend this to my family and friends. I just need to figure out how to get it to dissolve better.

Good but...

I tried out the vegetable stock powder before using the bouillon cubes so I was a bit disappointed they didn't match how amazing the powder is. It's not terrible by any means but it didn't dissolve as much as the powder did. Also you really did to make sure to use them in a recipe that doesn't have that much salt in it as these cubes really contain a lot of sodium.

Knorr Vegetable Bouillon Cubes - dissolving issues

Usually I buy the Better than Bouillon paste which is also concentrated and added to boiling water, but it seems to dissolve a lot better. I threw it into water with pasta and I also tried with rice just while they were cooking and I found remnants of the cube leftover at the end of cooking.

I used it when cooking brown basmati rice for a cilantro rice I make often. It was AMAZING. It's usually very good, but everyone agreed it was exceptional. The only thing that changed was I used these bouillon cubes instead of water.

It does contain palm oil in the ingredients twice - which while it has some controversy attached to it, is a vegetable oil. I consider this to be a healthy addition to my cooking. It was slightly too salty for me, but I just modified my portions and it worked out perfect.


I would considering buying this again, but likely because of the dissolving issues I would go with the powder format instead of cubes.

I received this product from FamilyRated in exchange for an honest review. I was really excited to try these because I’m always looking for natural ways to enhance my cooking or my family. This is perfect for bbq season as meat can get a bit dry. I crumbled up a few bouillon cubes and mixed them in some melted butter and basted the chicken breast with it after it came off the bbq. So delicious! This will definitely be a staple in my spice cupboard!

Merci à family rated pour nous faire essayer des produits de qualité. Je croyais recevoir un petit format d'essai mais surprise je reçois 2 produits et de format régulier. Je l'ai utilisé dans mes potages, il a très bon goût. J'utilisais toujours des bouillons de boeuf ou de poulet mais je crois que je viens de découvrir ma nouvelle saveur que je vais utiliser maintenant. Le seul bémol c'est que en cube c'est plus difficile d'ajuster la quantité.
