I have used this mascara and found it to be as good as it says..No clumping..

I really like this mascara. I does what it promises by giving you tons of volume without being clumpy. It's a good everyday product that adds depth without looking over the top.
I find that it does tend to flake a little when it gets close to the three month mark so as long as you buy a fresh tube when you notice the brush getting a little worn you're fine.
My favourite is the carbon black; very dramatic!

I used to use this mascara religiously until I discovered Maybelline New York Colossal Volum' Express Mascara. This mascara is good but not amazing. I like the simple volume it gave me – by that I mean, it certainly gave me volume, it just wasn’t amazing volume (and definitely not up to the standard that Colossal has achieved). It made my lashes darker and thicker, and my favourite part was that it didn’t make them crispy and hard like some mascaras do – my lashed remained feathery soft, which was a huge plus for me.

My only complaint is that the bottle doesn’t do a good job of taking off the excess product as you remove the wand, so there ends up being a lot of actual product on the wand each time (I noticed this more after the bottle had been opened for a little while.) The product comes out very thick (obviously, it’s a volumizing mascara!) which I didn’t like, and made it very messy to apply after a while. It’s ok if you wipe the wand clean and take out some more mascara. Also, because of this the product ends up being very clumpy. I am thinking this is just a problem with the actual life of the mascara – perhaps it doesn’t last as long as some other brands/types and the clumpiness can be attributed to this.

Overall I really do like this mascara – it is a good stand by, and I would go back to it anytime (that is if my love affair with Colossal ends any time soon!)

i first tried this product because i seen it at work in my supervisors desk. she had the regular type that wasn't water proof. I liked it because it did not seem dried out like a few other mascaras i've previously tried. after putting it on i lovved how it made my lashes look long and thick so i went out and bought one for myself. after a while of using it the bristles on the brush seem to clump together and the mascara seems to clump up more. I would recommend using this if you heat it up first. Run it under hot water to let it melt a bit and it should apply on fine.

This just did NOT work for me. I have long but poker straight lashes so I bought this thinking that the curved brush (along with my trusty lash curler) would be a help. It didn't help; it was disaterous. Quite frankly, I looked scarey. While it lived up to its voluminous promise, the bulk of the "volume" was accomplished by my lashes being formed into very unattractive gloppy spikes. I've decided my problem lies with the brush and the way it works (or doesn't work) with my lashes. I just don't have the patience (nor the courage) to pick my lashes apart with a pin.

I'm generally a fan of L'Oreal but in this case it gets a fail from this chick.

This has been mine and my mom's secret weapon for years! She was the one who introduced me to it and I used it for years without questioning what else is out there. In the past year I experimented with other mascaras - Smashbox, MAC, annabelle, maybellene and nothing came even close to comparing with this one. None of the above gave me as much awesome volume, length and thickness as this one. I use both regular and waterproof formulas. Since the waterproof one is really hard to remove I usually put a coat of regular underneath and then go over with the waterproof formula over top. This makes it a lot easier to remove it at the end of the day without scrubbing.
Funny that some people note clumps - I never saw any, but my friend who tried it after my recommendation found major clumping too. I guess it depends on your lashes...
Overall, I'm staying very loyal to this product from now on!

i just bought this recently and it works so well! it really makes my eyes pop and adds the finishing touch to make them look darker and i find it gives the promise of volume!! : ) the application brush is a little bigger (compared to my last one at least, Revlon 3D) so be careful when you swipe your smaller eyelashes but besides that, it goes on smoothly and doesnt clump! recommended for all :)

Awesome mascara! I've been on and off this one for years but I keep coming back and always wonder why I even bother trying others when this one works so well on me. It does exactly what it says - it volumizes my lashes making it thicker and longers as well. The best part of about this mascara is that it stays put and doesn't smudge or flake on me like other mascaras. The only part that I don't like about this is that after it's been open for awhile, the mascara starts clumping on me and making my eyelashes look spidery. My solution to this is just to brush it with a clean wand before it sets dry. It's an awesome mascara and at such an affordable price too!

I love mascara so I have tried many. I bought this stuff and didn't like it at all. Didn't really lengthen or volumize or anything. I have medium to long and already full lashes so it just wasn't for me.

I have fair blonde lashes so mascara and is must in my beauty routine. This mascara is my favourite - it holds the curl and add lots of volume. I tried several and this one works better than most mascaras.
