Good but not a necessary purchase

My roots are really oily and it itches really hard sometimes. I’m used to apply argile and I got really excited when I saw this mask.
I applied all over my roots with my fingers and left up for 5 minutes then I washed with shampoo.
Even washing 3 times, i had some product residues left.
It helped with the excess oil but not enough.
I recommend because it’s an easy and cheap to product to help with this issue, but not a really necessary product.
I don’t know if I would buy again!

Bought on sale and pleasantly surprised

I got this off the clearance rack and I am so shocked at how good it worked. Took the buildup and oil right out of my hair. Used my regular shampoo and conditioner and next day my hair looked and feels better. Quite pleasantly surprised.

Dull hair and overpowering smell

I purchased the pre-shampoo treatment mask, the shampoo and conditioner because I had the exact same problem they claimed to help with - oily roots and dry ends. It was one of those times where I got lured in by the fancy marketing claims. Especially when the advertisement stated that "combination hair stays balanced and bouncy up to 72 hours after washing." Well, not my combination hair... when I washed off the mask, my hair was feeling overly dry and straw-like.

Putting on the clay mask was quite messy to work with, but I didn't have a big issue with that. What really put me off was the overpowering sickly sweet floral fragrance. Also, the next morning my hair looked dull and lifeless... It was even starting to get oily again.

So disappointed

I tried this product four times, using with the shampoo and conditioner of the same line. Each time it made my hair feel scratchy dry right after use, and yet it was oily just as fast as normal (or faster). It is a bother to apply to you whole scalp, takes several minutes if you have thick hair. I even tried spot using it as a test on half my hair and it made no difference. I really wished it worked, the effort and time would be worth it if it did!

Super mask for fat hair

Balancing routine for oily roots and dry ends! In my experience get two days of fresh roots. Cleanses deeply at the scalp for beautiful hair that stays clean and fresh long time.

I've been looking for a product like this ...

My hair is not super oily but I like to use something to clean out my scalp once in a while. I've been looking for a product like this for so long but it's so hard to find. And finally here it is yet a drug store brand with affordable price. It really cleans out the oil in just a couple mins. But like I say I don't have oil hair so I only use it once a week. My scalp feels so clean and breathable after used. The only thing is you will use quite a bit of product on each use, but still with the price I think it's worth it.

Smooth texture, effective, pleasant scent!

When I first received this product I was hesitant to believe the claims that it would keep my hair less oily and better hydrated for up to 48 hours. I often have problems with my hair getting oily very soon after I wash it, this is a big problem for me especially in the winter when I don't want to wash it as often since it gets more dry/brittle in the cold weather.

I used this pre-shampoo mask along with the matching shampoo and conditioner as directed on the packaging. By the end of the first day my hair was still oil free. By the end of day two I was convinced. My hair had started to get oily again but not anywhere near what it would have been using my normal shampoo/conditioner routine. This coupled with the fact that it is really affordable has pretty much cemented its inclusion in my future beauty routine.

I originally received this product complimentary for testing purposes, but have since purchased of my own preference. I am still very happy with the results!

This hair mask looks exactly how you would expect a clay mask to look. It is to be applied to the scalp on dry hair before you shampoo. It can get a little messy, but after a little practice you will be able to apply to roots and scalp pretty easily. I let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes, then rinse and shampoo.

Using all three products has helped my hair stay clean and fresh looking, without the oily scalp. My hair seems healthier as I can go three days between shampoos.

Fresh scent and easy to rinse.

Having tried the shampoo, and really liking it, I bought the conditioner. I am so thrilled with the performance of this whole product line.
Buying a hair care product line has always been a challenge, because my scalp gets oily, but my hair is dry. These products nailed it. After shampooing I apply this nicely fragranced conditioner, and leave it on for a couple of minutes. I can go three days without a shampoo, and my hair still looks fresh and clean. I have been using the entire line...mask, shampoo and conditioner, and will continue to buy it.

This product line trio of mask, shampoo and conditioner represents another innovative hair care system from L’Oréal Paris. The clay mask is applied to dry hair prior to washing and absorbs oils and impurities. The texture is quite similar to that of a facial clay mask. The treatment washed out easily with the use of the shampoo.
