Really like this body wash!

I was so excited to be chosen to receive this product and review it. I was even more excited to see the bottle when I received my package. What a pretty label! When I first used the body wash I was a little surprised by the odor. It’s not the usual floral scent I go for but more minty. I quickly got used to it though and really liked how refreshing it smelled ( hence the name I guess!) without being overwhelming. It didn’t smell perfumey at all.
The texture was nice, thick and silky. It got good and sudsy and really washed off cleanly. There was no residue at all left behind. My skin felt very clean!
I am quite pleased with this body wash and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again!

The Love Beauty & Planet Body Wash is going into my list of favourite body washes. The Body Wash lathers SO well, a little goes a long way and there's no need to use a loofah. The scent is also great. It provides a wonderful refreshing, cooling, earthy, tea tree oil scent that really gives a relax and refresh sensation in the shower. The consistency of the body wash is a liquid gel-like texture, not too runny but also not too thick. While the body wash lathers well, it also leaves the skin feeling amazing, fresh and awake. I would recommend this body wash to anyone - especially to those who love the scent of tea tree oil.

Made my skin feel softer than my baby's!

I absolutely love this product. The scent is so relaxing and my skin felt like I had just returned from a day at the spa with how soft it was! It lathered so nicely without any oily residue. The fact that its vegan is just icing on the cake!

It's an OK Body Wash

I use body gel and body creams all the time to was my body. I generally don't give it much though, I just try to find something that's a little hydrating and not drying. I find gels tend to be a little drier on my skin. So I was happy to get to try this body gel for free, thanks to Chick Advisor. The tea tree oil scent isn't to strong, but there is a small scent of it. In general I wouldn't say that I like the tea tree scent, cause it's normally pretty strong, it's not in this line of product. It is a clear, thick gel, almost reminds me of a hair gel. I do find that I need to use more product that normal to get any lather. Other than that, it seems to wash my body just fine. It's not to drying and I'm not sure how it would detox me skin.... Also the tea tree scent doesn't linger on my skin.

Refreshing Body Wash

I received this product from chick advisor and Love Beauty & Planet in exchange for an honest review.
When I first pick up body washes, the first thing I do is smell them. This body was is a mixture of tea tree oil and vetiver that gives off an earthy smell. If you are looking for something fruity or soft and feminine, this is not the fragrance for you. The tea tree oil really comes through in the fragrance, not that that's a bad thing. It's a refreshing scent that is revitalizing and more down to earth. It could be a nice fragrance for people who have sensitivities to perfume and other strong fragrances.
When I used it in the shower it lathered up nicely, and washed off easily. There was no residue on my skin and it left my skin feeling nice and clean. It did not dry out my skin either, which is a major plus!
I did try to use it as a bubble bath (as some body washes you can use as both), but for this one I wouldn't recommend it. The consistency of the body wash makes it thicker and it didn't produce many bubbles. Obviously this is not it's intended use, but I figure I would mention it.
Overall, it is a really nice product that leaves you feeling fresh and clean!

It’s a body wash.

Considering my excitement over the matching shampoo/conditioner in the tea tree oil, I wasn’t that impressed by the body wash.
It’s a body wash. It smells fantastic, it cleans, it suds up great, it didn’t dry out my skin.
But unlike the shampoo/conditioner, this didn’t wow me.

Love the scent!

Love the scent! Makes it smell like I am in a spa. The consistency is very thick and it lathers very well very bubbly. After rinsing off it leaves my skin very moisturized.

Did not "Wow" me

I received this product (along with the shampoo and conditioner in this line) for free in exchange for my review.

I need to start by saying that I wasn't disappointed by the product. It smelled very pleasant and lathered quite easily. However, I truly loved the shampoo and conditioner (they have become my new favourites). I was hoping to love the body wash just as much. My skin was not especially soft following my shower, but it was not begging for moisture either. It is possible multiple uses are required to see benefits.

To summarize: I love the scent of this body wash, but it didn't make my skin dramatically softer than similarly priced items on the market. More uses are needed to know the true quality of the product. That said, it stands up against competing brands while being cruelty-free and having a bottle made 100% of recycled plastic.

I can see probably purchasing this again in the future.

J'ai aimé ce nettoyant pour le corps, l'odeur es rafraîchissante et ne laisse pas de résidu désagréable. Il nettoie très bien, par contre je trouve cela un peu dommage de retrouvé des ingrédients chimiques dans ce genre de produits. Le format du produit es super et l'emballage aussi.
