LUSH Tea Tree Water Reviews
#141 in Toner

Description

Suffering from spots, blackheads or excess oil? Don’t fret! And most importantly, don’t use a toner laden with skin irritating alcohol. Blemish-prone skin if often more sensitive than we like to give it credit for. Treating breakouts with alcohol can actually further the problem! Our suggestion? Gently, but effectively, treat your skin with Tea Tree Water. The antiseptic tea tree oil clears out blemish causing bacteria, while grapefruit and juniper water balance oil production. Spritz your face with Tea Tree water throughout the day to refresh and keep oil under control. See? Things are looking better already.

This product is just alright in my books. I tried it out, used it a few times - and then it just expired on me. I liked the overall feel of this product, but the scent made me really sick to my stomach. Overall, it's just okay for me.

I find that this toner is not as effective as my regular drug store brand toner; the tea tree water does not seem to remove makeup and oils as well as drug store brands. However, I really like how gentle the Tea Tree Toner is on my skin; the product is not harsh and does not dry out my skin or strip away natural oils. The toner removes some blackheads (after multiple uses) and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Bottom Line: I'm on the fence about repurchasing this product or not. I like that the toner doesn't contain alcohol, but the effectiveness is quite mild for me.

Picked this up at the same as the Fresh Farmacy and it is wonderful! I use it after washing and prior to applying moisturizer. It is refreshing and you only need a few spritzes. It helps the moisturizer soak into the skin and helps to keep breakouts at bay leaving my skin even toned and clear. Great stuff and worth every penny!

The packaging: The Tea Tree Water Toner comes in a black spritzer bottle with the signature black LUSH label. It's available in two sizes, 100mL and 250mL.

The product: Tea Tree Water. Oh how I love thee. I have incorperated it into my daily face care routine as well as mid-day freshen ups. It works fabulous for troublesome acne prone skin and is awesome in the summer for refreshing your hot and sweaty face. (Cute, right? Oh come on, I know you all sweat!) It features (the obvious) tea tree, juniper and grapefruit water. Tea tree has natural anti-bacterial properties, perfect for oily, acne prone skin! Juniper is known for having antiseptic properties and grapefruit water can be used for improving skin tone! Sounds fabulous right? Let's continue! Tea Tree Water smells very fresh and leaves my skin feeling tighter and refreshed. In the morning, after I've cleaned my face I spray Tea Tree Water on a cotton pad and apply all over my face and neck. Occassionally I will just spray the mist directly on my face for a quick refresher! Also, an FYI; Tea Tree Water is one of LUSH's Vegan products!

The price: Tea Tree Water comes in two sizes; the 100mL size sells for $8.95 and the 250mL size sells for $19.95 (both in CAD.) I purchased the 250mL bottle which lasted me for aproximately 6 months. After which, I repurchased the product. I think it is a resonable price for the quantity, seeing as how you don't use much of it, which in turn lets it last forever!

Overall: I definitely enjoy Tea Treet Water. Its a necessary aspect of my daily face care routine and when I don't use it, I can definitely notice a difference in the feel of my skin. I believe it also helps to control the oils that my face produces. I like how easy it is to apply/use and how it makes my skin look more "awake" in the morning! I would definitely reccommend it to someone with combination, oily, or acne prone skin who needed a good toner. Is that you? Try it out!

I love this product, it's easy to use, just spray directly on you face or spray on a cotton ball and then apply it. It's very refreshing and there is no alcohol in it, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling tight and dry. I find it very effective on my acne, when used with my skin care regime. It's also "100% non-animal tested ingredients", so you can rest assured that you are buying a product that is not tested on animals! It smells great, leaves my skin soft and clean.
