This product is amazing! At first I wasn't completely in love for the price, but after using it I LOVE it! It really is a great powder! It has great coverage for a powder and feels light on the skin! If you are looking for a high end powder, I definitely would give this one a try!

This does not look natural at all. The person at MAC said I'm a medium so I got that and it was too light. I look washed out in a powdery way. My friend got medium dark but it was a bit darker on her and you can see the difference. I also tried the medium dark and that one is a bit too dark for me so it would be better if they have a color in the middle. I didn't like the quality of the powder either. It made me break out and even if I put a bit on, it is really easy to see and I end up looking cakey.

This is highly raved from MAC as giving you a satiny, natural finish. I have light olive skin and got mine in Medium Plus which is a little bit too dark for my liking. The next shade down, Medium, is a bit too ashy for my skintone.
Used as a foundation and buffed into the skin, it's not that natural looking. You can definitely see a powdery finish, and coverage is just so-so. You can try using it wet, but then you end up with a streaky look.
It works better as a setting powder, but for the price that MAC charges, you are better off buying a cheap drugstore powder.

This powder is amazing and does create a beautiful, flawless look to any face. BUT, I rarely re-purchase for the following reasons:

1. IT BREAKS ME OUT. This product is great but I have come to realize after a few weeks it begins to break me out quite badly. However.. I plan on finishing it because I just love how well it makes my face look (besides the blemish uglyness..)

2. I really don't like mac's colors.. all their shades are orangey/yellow and on my skin definitely come out that way. Even the "light" shade is too dark for my skin tone. I mix the mac with a light regular pressed powder to create a better shade for my skin. COME ON MAC, WHAT ABOUT THE PALE PEOPLE!?

3. The price tag.. 33$ approx. for one powder. Sure I can use it in the BACK2MAC program which is great but 6 product containers for one lipstick..?

I will be returning to my Covergirl powder foundation is the lightest shade because it worked, it covered, it did not break me out and at around 12$ my wallet stays happy!

This is the absolute best face powder ever! I use this to set my foundation or concealer, and it provides a low natural coverage with a natural matte finish. It doesn't feel like anything on your skin. For CDN $30, it's a bit of a luxury, but there is a lot of product in the compact as it is baked with a dome top.

It is also great to touch up after blotting the oilies after a long day. If you want a lot of coverage I wouldn't recommend this, but to set your makeup, this is as good as it gets. Highly recommended!

I've been looking for a mineral powder that I can use to help control shine and give a more matte effect so I picked up this product from the MAC store.

I've been using the 'medium' shade and in the whole 'Silkfinish Natural' range there are 8 different shade options.

This gives light-to-medium coverage depending how you apply it. I usually use a powder brush and just dust it lightly all over after applying by foundation, however I've also used a powder sponge when I've needed a heavier application. It doesn't come with a sponge so keep that in mind if you're looking to use it that way.

So far i really like the product, it does what I wanted it to do. It doesn't have any luminosity factor which sometimes I wish it did, although they have other silkfinish products that have that feature.

The only thing I wish it had was an SPF factor. I'd really like to find a mineral face powder that does so I can reapply throughout the day to protect myself and my skin!

I use the "Medium/Dark" as a bronzer and LOVE IT!! Very natural sun kissed look and you can layer it, so for night time I use a little more to look nice and tanned for pictures!

I really enjoy this powder. Coverage of this powder is not too heavy and not too light it is just right. I use a big blush brush to apply and it distributes quiet nicely. I have replaced MAC's Blot Powder with this product as it is more effective in achieving a natural look. My shine is taken care of without wearing too much on my face!!
