Bought them for my daughters who have thick curly hair. She loves these, says she uses them almost every day. There is a constant battle between her and the cats who love to knock them off tables and bat them around. Would recommend if have moderately coarse, thick curls. Probably wouldn't work for fine hair.

I swear by these. They do break if you are too rough with them, but they are great to have around. They're best for pulling back the top half of your hair, or if you have very thin hair, I imagine you could get away with holding it all back. They stay in place and don't tug or rip hair and that's all I can ask for!
