Very drying

I bought Mariposa Matte Lipstain to complete a costume, so I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money. It was ok for a cheap lipstain (cost $2.50 at the Dollar Store), but I won't be buying it again.

The colour was a little hard to apply neatly and dried very fast, not giving much time to fix any mistakes. Once it dried, it lasted a long time and I could eat and drink without it coming off. The colour was ok, but it was very drying on my lips.

Not very happy

I was very excited when i perches my first Matte Lip Stain. The color is beautiful, and looks like nice creamy texture. But after applying on my lips, i did not like it at all. It's feels dry and not comfortable. The only think i did like, that color wouldn't transfer when you touch. Looks like this product not for me.

I purchased two shades from the dollarama for $1.25 each. They have a bit of a floral scent but you don't notice once it's on. They are not too pigmented and can be a little streaky but they are matte and transfer proof. I haven't worn them all day yet so I'm not sure how well they'll hold up over time. The biggest problem is probably the stickiness but that can be fixed with some powder. Overall it's worth the money to me.
