I have been using this mascara for years. I have allergies, so my eyes water frequently and this is one of the few waterproof mascaras I have found that stays on. It is also one of the only inexpensive kinds of makeup that has never irritated my sensitive skin. There is a reason that this stuff has been popular for decades and that is that it works.

This stuff is great, especially for the price. For an inexpensive drugstore product, you really can't beat it. Also, when it says "waterproof", they mean it. This stuff will last all day at the beach/pool and won't come off without makeup remover.

I simply love the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara,,I have been using it for over 20 yrs. Ofcourse from time to time I have tried others, only to come back to my old favorite. The price is excellent and affordable, the colors are great, and it is in my opinion the best. The brush of the great lash mascara is just what I like, the size of the brush is great because it allows me to get into the corners of my eye without poking myself in the eye,,
Simply Love this Mascara

The only reason I even tried this was because it came free with my tampons. I never thought a entry level, most inexpensive on the market (I think) mascara would do the fantastic job it did on my sparse red eyelashes. Not only did it lengthen and separate, but the small cone shaped applicator easily reached every lash. Very pleasantly surprised for a 4-5$ mascara.
P.s the on I used has a green top, not sure the difference to the one in the pic.

I have tried many different types of mascara's, including some very expensive department store brands, and I always come back to this one. The price is right and it does the job! It's not too clumpy and it stays on for a long time. The only negative I have is sometimes my allergies make my eyes water and it isn't entirely waterproof, but that doesn't happen all the time.

The main reason I bought this mascara was because of the price. Maybelline products are great for those not looking to spend a lot of money on make-up. The quality of the mascara is good, I use this mascara often, but i do wish it was waterproof. The good thing is it doesn't leave much mess behind either and is easy to clean off if you accidentally get some on your skin instead of your eyelashes. I recommend this product to any woman looking for a good quality, good price mascara - it looks good on your eyelashes and your pocket :)

I did not like the mascara at all. I found the brush was too small and it did not go on nicely. My eyelashes were left looking the same as before I applied the mascara. The benefits are that it was a good price and the mascara is indeed waterproof. If you're just looking to darken your lashes or for a little extra "oompf" then i recommend it, but it is not good for volume or length.

I have been using this mascara for about 15 years...half of my life off and on. Tried, tested, and true, it's always the brand I come back to, after trying others and finding that they don't meet my needs as consistently as this product does.

When I first saw the mascara wand, I was very skeptical and already had my mind set that it would be like other typical mascaras. I was wrong. I love the shape of it. It's designed to easily reach those lashes near the inner eye that not every mascara wand can grab. I also love the length they give my lashes. My lashes are actually touching my brow bones! The true test came when I wore it to a family members wedding. Tears were flowing, but my mascara wasn't! This product definitely fits in with a busy lifestyle!
