I received the Maybelline New York Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation for free from ChickAdvisor as part of their product review club. I am not usually a liquid foundation user so I was eager to try this product as it comes in a compact that resembles a powder foundation. This makes it portable and easy to use on the go, unlike most liquid foundations. This product went on smoothly and provided even coverage. I was impressed with how easy it was to apply with the sponge applicator (provided) and get a smooth finish, without the mess of a regular liquid foundation. I will definitely consider using this foundation in the future and would recommend it to anyone who wants the convenience of a powder foundation with the coverage of a liquid.

Solid product and a good...foundation (hahaha)

I'm not a foundation person normally because I have a very minimal routine and I don't tend to take the time. However, I really loved it...great texture, mid coverage that builds slowly so you don't look in the mirror and realize you've airbrushed yourself of any features. I picked the darkest which is Cocoa though I'm not that dark because normally Maybelline runs a little light for me, but it works well.

I liked that the foundation came with it's own sponge. It applied easily and stayed all day without REapplication, which is key with 6 kids!

My face did dry out with this foundation, though. I would say by day 3. I did exfoliate and put lotion then waited two days before retrying, but it did happen again.

As part of the Product Review Club, I was lucky to receive Maybelline New YorkCushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation to test.
The foundation provides a light coverage, easy to blend with the little sponge included, and you can finish blending with your fingers. It held through the day, without making me feel and smell like a cold ashtray, often the case with foundation.
Overall, I really like this product and definitely would recommend it for those who are looking for a light coverage or a concealer application.

I was so excited to get Maybelline New York Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation for free as part of the Chick Advisor product review club.

This foundation is easy to apply and so very neat. You use the sponge in the compact and follow the directions. It was perfect. My hands stayed clean and it provided nice coverage without being too heavy on my skin. Chick Advisor sent me a colour that matched my skin tone perfectly.

The mouse type texture makes it perfect to use after the gym or when travelling.

I am typically not a fan of Maybelline products. I found this product was easy to use, apply and dried nicely. I did find it did oxidize throughout the day if I set it with powder. It was fine if I didn't set it or set it using a spray

I was very skeptical about the pad used to apply this product, but was pleasantly surprised! I have very fair skin and often have a hard time finding a shade that matches. This product blends beautifully, without looking like you are wearing product. It lasts the entire day (although I did apply a loose powder over top), and washes off nicely. If you are looking for a full coverage foundation this may not be for you, but to even skin tone and cover blemishes without heavy makeup, this is fantastic!

This is my first cushion foundation as I was wondering how effective these would be.. I totally love the finish of this product it's so natural and super quick and that's very important especially as I just had a baby.
I have tried the applicator that came with it as well as a brush and I like the result.. I want to try it with a beauty blender.
I top it off with a translucent powder and it lasts me at least 8 hrs for sure.
Great purchase but the only thing I don't like is he quantity of the product for the same price I can get more product but that's with any cushi on foundation.

Maybelline is always great for make up products! I was slightly disappointed with the liquid foundation though. I felt it to be too greasy on my skin. Now that summer is approaching it's way more hot outside and by the end of the day it just looks messy. On a cool day it was perfect! It really could just be my skin but I found it to be a bit heavy for a foundation! The color blended beautifully though! I'd still recommend it because it truly could just be my skin and the weird weather.
