I personally like foundations when the applicator and the product are together. And prefer foundation/concealer sticks but I was willing to give this shot before the product looked appealing and I trust the Maybelline brand. I received the ivory foundation which turned out to be a bit too light for my skin however it works well as an under eye concealer.
Great product that looks appealing on the shelf and when applied. Would recommend the product for anyone interested in testing out the product.

I really liked the product it had a really nice texture and was easy to apply
I liked the texture of this versus my usual maybelline foundation - it was easy to apply and I didn't mind applying it with my fingers.
I would buy it again once it's up.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Mate Hydrating Foundation. Warm Porcelain. We were so excited to be chosen to try this foundation. We, being me, and my 14 year old daughter who is a cosmetic queen! As soon as we saw it our faces lit up in anticipation! Was i going to be able to keep this new wonder, or would it disappear before my eyes, into the cavern of my girl's bedroom? Alas, she got a hold of it first. And, she is now obsessed with it! (i got to try it too). We love the feel and texture of it - it truly leaves our skin feeling velvety and soft. It blends in nicely, and this colour suited us to a tee. It perfects and smooths, and leaves behind a flawless complexion ! It doesn't get flaky like some foundations tend to do. We are sold on Dream Velvet and foresee purchasing it in the future! Thank you for the chance to try it!

Just received the product in the mail to try. As soon as I got it I put it on right away and WOW!! What a great foundation!! I love how it does not leave your skin oily and covers everything evenly. I also found you do not need to use a lot to have full coverage either which is great. I highly recommend this and will be purchasing this in the future.

I fell in Love with this product right from the get go! I was in the market for a liquid or gel foundation to hydrate and cover up flaws. Out of the five other brands that I tried at the drugstore, This accomplished all that I needed! I did not get the "blender" they were advertising with the foundation; found fingers to be just as good. Amazing selection of shades too! A little product goes a Long way! Bravo Maybelline!!
