I love it! I got this as a tester. Very nice. It is exactly as it says. It is a velvety feel. Although, unfortuantely, it does also exactly as it says. Hydrating. My skin is a combination of oily on the t zone and dry on the cheeks. So I won't be using this on my t-zone. I think I will be giving this away. But overall, very good and does exactly as it says.

A very travel friendly foundation that dispenses from a tube. It seems like the dream velvet mousse foundation that comes in a jar, but now in better packaging. It claims to be hydrating and matte and it is both of those things. A great product to take on the go if you're going somewhere cold for a few days. Doesn't cling to dry patches and provides comfortable moisture throughout the day. I'm NC25-NC30 in MAC foundations and 60 Sandy Beige fit me perfectly. I received these from ChickAdvisor so I'm really surprised that they were able to match my skintone so perfectly!

I got to try out new Dream Velvet Foundation via the Chick Advisor Review Club. My first impression of the foundation was that the packaging was very appealing. Using the Dream Blender I put it to the test. While I found that the foundation was a little on the thick side, it did cover well - especially when it came to the dark circles under my eyes. However I did find that it didn't quite blend as well as I'd hoped and it was fairly noticeable that I was wearing it. I now only use it for my under eye area and use my normal brand for the rest of my face.

Honestly it's horrible! It doesn't blend at all and looks all blotchy. It also seemed to bring out my acne instead of cover it! I'm just happy I tried it in a day I wasn't going out. I am however happy that I got to test this product for free!

The consistancy of the prodcut is nice, not exactly my color but i played with a lighter setting powder. The blender with a bit hard but workable. I have oily skin so I did need to touch up during the day!

I received this foundation to review and was quite pleased with the matte finish. I've tried matte foundations before, but they looked quite cakey. This felt moisturizing yet had a powder finish as well. Very pleased with the texture! It has real staying power too, lasting most of the day looking matte and flawless. However I did find that more came off if I rubbed up against anything, much more than my usual foundation transfers. Even still, I would buy this again! I might try a setting spray with it soon to see if that helps.

I received this foundation gratis from ChickAdvisor. The color match was perfect- not too pink and not too orange. The first time I applied this foundation with the maybelline sponge it came with it was a little streaky, but when I applied it with a damp beauty blender I got beautiful coverage. This foundation dried to a soft matte finish and lasted about 7 hours before I started noticing separation on my oily nose. Overall a very solid product!

Over all, I would absolutely recommend and purchase this foundation again. The high coverage is comparable to my current foundation, which I love. The shade that was sent to me was a little light for my skin, but went in flawlessly and lasted throughout the day. I'm excited to purchase a shade or slightly darker, and I think I'll be hooked.

This foundation works very well to even out my skin tone, hide blemishes, and brighten the look of my skin. Once applied, my skin still has a natural look to it. The foundation is a medium consistency, which makes it easy to spread onto my face. Depending on the desired coverage, you can blot on more for increased coverage if you like. The shade I got is probably a tad too yellow or beige for my skin, however because it blends on so well, I could still use it and it still looked great. It's staying power is also fantastic and lasts throughout the day.
