I tried this foundation 2 years ago and I will continue to repurchase it and use it in rotation with my other favourites. Not only is if a HYDRATING matte foundation, which is great for my dry skin, but the finish is exactly what the title says.. "velvet.

I tried this product, and it is now my Fave....I have spots on my face, and this camouflages them very well.
Love the matte finish I also achieve...and I am also sensitive to certain products, and no issues with this one,

I bought this as I couldn't find the dream wonder liquid foundation. Although it's not my favorite, if does give that matte look and it's not too heavy o your face. Pretty good coverage for the price!

This foundation is way too thick for my liking. It made my skin greasy and it just felt gross all day. I also spent the extra money on the "sponge" if you wanna call it that. Felt like i was punching my face repeatedly ! The sponge was so hard and uncomfortable, and it really didn't help to blend the product in at all. Just all around awful !

I am using Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation right now. OverallI like it especially when i apply it in the beginning my face is shining and glowy but after sometime of application (2 to 3 hours) it starts to oxidize and the colour is no longer the same. I am not sure if i will buy it again.

I wasn't overly impressed with this foundation - the texture is nice and feels very smooth, however, the mouse-like consistency seemed to grab onto all my dry patches and make them more noticeable and obvious. I am also a big fan of high-coverage foundations and this just didn't seem to cover enough for me and it was also non-buildable because of the texture.
I also felt that the colour did not work for me either, it had an orange tone to it when put on my skin and I grabbed the lightest shade they had.
The price was great though - I would recommend it to somebody that doesn't have dry patches and is looking for minimal coverage, it just wasn't a product for me.

I've used this a good handful of time. I have a good sense of this already and I have to say it feels like moose on my face. Good for dry skin at least.

I have many friends who loves this item but for myself, I didn't like it. The price was alright however I have lots of freckles that I love to cover up. I am a pretty pale person as well. I felt like I couldn't get the right skin tone for me and coverage was pretty poor. I felt like I was smearing everything everywhere as well. I have definitely used a better drugstore foundation than this in the past. Others love it though, maybe it just wasn't for me!

This is like velvet on t he skin . So soft and smooth on the face skin dosen't feel weigheed down when wearing. And very easy to clean off skin at the end of the day
