Although it does separate lashes, its not the best mascara out there

The mascara maybe cheap but there is a reason why. I found the product to be clumpy after a few weeks, smudges and the product also started irritating my eyes. There were days were my eyes were constantly itchy and red. i would not recommend this to friends and family. My friend used to use this product and she too had irritation. They may have changed the formula that is causing these irritation.

Marketing and the relatively inexpensive cost of this mascara led me to try it. I do not understand why many other more impressive Maybelline mascaras have been discontinued...and this one continues to flourish. Those aforementioned reasons are most likely the reasons why everyone else had tried it at some point in their lives. Very few people (aside from beauty editors) actually like this one. Perhaps if the user already has enviably long lashes that need some color, this would work fine for her? Otherwise, imperceptible volume and length. Waste of time and money.

I had purchased the very black mascara for approximately four dollars on sale at Walmart once upon a time.

It just doesn't separate lashes nicely, and the brush is too stubby for me.

I have *never* understood the cult of Great Lash. It's an awful, outdated formula that doesn't lengthen, curl or add volume, so if you've got short straight lashes like me it's a complete waste of time. Maybelline makes *much* better mascaras - Define-A-Lash is my favourite.

I am shaking my head at all the positive reviews this mascara gets. I recently bought a tube when it was on sale for a great price. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. In my opinion, it does a poor job of lengthening or thickening. So, unless you are going for a very natural look, steer clear of this one.

This mascara made my eyes burn! Never gonna try a Maybeline mascara again.

The worst mascara I've ever used. It did not add length or volume and definitely did not keep the curl. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone

Clumps and is not worth your money- it lasted me for about two weeks. it doesn't curl your lashes it just makes them darker and again, clumps. It is also very difficult to remove.

I needed a new mascara since my mascara was almost used up. This costed me around $5-6 at cvs and it was on a sale, so I thought to myself why not? After purchasing this, the brush made it hard for me to apply the mascara. It isn't give me the look I wanted and it wasn't working for me. It didnt curl my eyelashes, it looked the same. I would not recommend this mascara. It is not worth your money. Spend a few more dollars for their other mascara because this one will not please you.
