Disappointed with this product!

I have a very basic makeup routine, consisting of a regular skincare routine, then concealer, mascara and lip gloss. I use concealer to cover the bags under my eyes and was drawn to the Maybelline age rewind concealer because it claimed to erase dark circles and have ingredients to combat them. I was very disappointed after trying for the first time. The concealer is too thin and provides no coverage. The applicator doesn’t blend well and after an hour the concealer creases into lines and doesn’t look even at all.

Pas convaincu...

J’ai acheté ce produit il n’y a pas longtemps, car j’ai entendu beaucoup de bien sur ce produit. Malheureusement, je ne l’ai pas apprécié. Il ne cachait pas mes cernes, il fesait un résultat assez cakey et asséchait mon contour des yeux.

Instant age rewind

I bought this because I have always had dark circles under my eyes . I did not like this product as it creases and was way too light. I find it very thin and needs to be thicker. Thumbs down for this one!

Not for me...

I had watched and heard so many good reviews for this product. The product’s consistency and the formula is good but concealers for my skin are mostly a miss. So, this one definitely didn’t work for my under-eyes. Just makes the skin look cakey but again it can work well for you if you are looking for a concealer. Worth a try if you are at a drugstore.

Disappointed in its hype

This concealer doesn't have a smooth finish nor is it full coverage (which is kind of the point of a concealer). It is really creamy and easy to blend however it doesn't look like much. I have only tried it in the summer so far so that might be a factor. I'm not a big fan of the applicator either, while it's nice to have a sponge right there it keeps applying more concealer when I'm just trying to blend out what I already applied. It's a good match for my skin tone though and I can see myself using it on a daily basis, maybe even on its own without foundation.

Won’t buy again

I had heard a lot of good things about this product and I was excited to try it. I’m not impressed. It doesn’t cover my dark circles well, and it creases.

Perhaps it works well for others, but it doesn’t for me.

Love hate relation .....

I tried so much to love this concealer but it didnt work .. I have kind of love hate relation with this . Ive seen so many people talk about it , love it but that was not really my case . I does brighten the eyes but creases so badly even when i set powder on top ! It dont give me that extra coverage for my under eye , it can look good as an highlighter but not for a concealer . The price is very good , if you dont really have those under eyes circles like me then you might like it !

The ratings say it all - average

This product creases SO easily under the eye - the moment after I blend it in and look down, there are crease lines. That being said, the coverage is decent and the sponge applicator is really gentle around the eye which is ideal. I'm not the biggest fan of the twist-pump method because the product tends to gather at the bottom of the sponge and it seems that a lot is wasted. I noticed 0 difference with truly treating my dark circles other than the fact that it literally covers it up with makeup. Overall, it's a decent product but only if you find it on sale.

Felt heavy on my face

I didn't like the maybelline New York instant age rewind concealer. It felt really thick , cakey and heavy on my face . I did have it for awhile before I used it , so maybe That's why ? I might buy another one and try it right away. People say it's a good one so I don't know why it was so heavy and weird feeling on my face .

It's a decent value for the price. Not good for anyone with cool undertones. It does oxidize and crease. I also don't like the fact that the applicator isn't removeable therefore cannot be cleaned. It did partially cover my dark circles but not the darkest parts
