For a drugstore mascara, this was very expensive - almost comparable to a mid range department store one. The packaging was elegant enough, and the technology behind the vibrating action seemed promising.

However, it ended up being a decent mascara that provided some length and volume that stood out - as long as the button was not turned on. When on, it was hard to work it without making a mess on skin or on my lashes. There was no attempting to try to get at the corners because of the risk of poking my eye out or smearing mascara somewhere that I did not want.

If it was the same price as the other mascara without the mechanism, this would have been a good choice. As is, it was just not justifiable.

This mascara does define the lashes, with some volume, but it leaves my lashes looking spidery, for some reason the vibrations make the clumps worse. This also doesn't coat my lashes evenly. This is a relatively natural mascara, and shouldn't be marketed for volume. The staying power for this is ok, with no flaking, but the formula is also very thin. This was definetly not worth the money, the vibrations didn't really do anything other than make things clumpy, as opposed to volumizing.

I got Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara at a major discount. I don't think I would have bought it for the regular price of $19.99. It takes some getting use to, I used it without the vibration for the longest time and even now when I don't have patience I don't use it. The mascara itself is really quit good. It will last the whole day no problem, without clumps. By the end of the day it does start to flake off but after over 25 years of using mascara I haven't found one that doesn't. I think Maybelline would be smart to make a video showing how to use this new vibrating technology properly. I think this is a good product, but I don't think enough was done to help consumers understand how to use it and it is probably not worth the regular retail price here in Canada. If it's on sale I do recommend trying it though.

The vibration was pointless, so I don't even remember to turn the wand on. Didn't rock my socks at all, and I wouldn't buy it again. I love big, long, dramatic lashes and This product didn't deliver. Will flake a little bit after wearing for the day. I'm glad at least it was on a wicked sale when I got mine.

I wasn't a fan of this product for it didn't work very well and hardly made my lashes longer. It wasn't worth what I spent and was dissapointed with my purchase. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I personally did not like this product at all. They make it look so technical by giving you the vibrating wand but there is not point to it. It does nothing to your mascara. I tried this out and my eyelashes turned out so clumpy and gross. Unless you want extremely chunky spider lashes, I would def. not recommend this.

I was given a tube of this mascara to try and boy am I glad I didn't pay anything for it! When I removed the tab that prevents the wand from vibrating before the package is opened, the copper "switch" just about came with it. So I was not impressed right from the start.

The mascara itself is nothing special. I will give it points for not clumping in the tube or on the wand--it's not a very thick formula. However, the mascara doesn't really do much. Try applying it without using the "power" option and it's a mascara that provides thin coverage and does nothing to enhance the volume of your lashes. It is slightly better at lengthening.

The vibration option strikes me as nothing more than a gimmick. I tried applying the mascara with and without using the vibrating feature and didn't really see much difference. I didn't find that the vibration feature made a difference in how the mascara went on my lashes. In fact, half the time I don't use the vibration because it's more of a nuisance than a help.

I certainly wouldn't pay more for a mascara because the wand vibrates. Overall this was a total disappointment.

This is definitely not worth the price and the effort. Do you really need a pulsating brush for something you can just do yourself? The formula is not great at all, really you're buying it for the pulse.

Not worth the price or the effort. I gave it to my daughter who also has long and pale lashes. She did not like it either.
