A delicious and convenient cake to have at hand in the freezer. I like the texture of the cake, it's not too dense. It has a rich taste, and good flavour. The icing topping is yummy, and goes nicely with the cake.

For a relatively inexpensive, store-bought dessert, these are really tasty. Of course I prefer homemade desserts, but this is probably one of the only store-bought desserts I would even consider. I bake a fair bit and while baking a cake is easy, I always find making the icing, waiting for it to cool and then icing it to be a bit of a chore. This is a effortless weeknight dessert.

This is one of those classic cakes to keep in your freezer just in case...sure it may not be high homemade quality . But if you need a chocolate fix, this would work great. They are a lot smaller than in the past, but they still have the same taste and kids love them.

I love these, but I have noticed how small they are getting. I remember being a child and they were so much larger. They still taste amazing. I would just like them to be bigger.

Have been eating the McCain Deep n' Delicious Chocolate Cake for as long as I can remember. Its just the right amount of cake & icing and find it delightful. Its a moist, rich and satisfying cake to eat. Always like to keep a few in freezer for when those unaccepted guests might pop over.

This is the dessert from my childhood! I remember my parents would surprise us with one of these every once in awhile - especially in the hotter months as it would be nice and cool. I especially love the icing on it, I can never help myself from sneaking little swipes of it.

This dessert is classic and no-fail. I grew up eating this all the time and glad I can share the tradition with my kids. My husband still loves this dessert. I have noticed a change in the size of cake and thickness compared to what I remember the sizing was growing up. The price of course has gone up from what it was before but that can't be helped. I will continue to enjoy this dessert for years to come and sure my kids will as well.

I grew up eating this cake, it was always moist and delicious. It's great for a quick go to treat, great flavor and good cake to icing ratio! Plus storing it int he freezer makes it last longer, if that's possible!

I have loved this cake since I was a kid. Pulling it out of the freezer and sneaking a piece after school when my mom wasn't paying attention. Great fun treat. My kids were quite excited when they tried this the first time and they gobbled it up. I don't buy it often, but as a treat when I have a craving.
