this chocolate cake is sooo moist and so rich with a delicious chocolate flavor!!! there is just the right amount of awesome chocolate creamy icing!!!! i like to eat this nice and cold on a hot day or a rainy day or any time!!!!

For a ready made cake in the frozen section, it is PERFECT !!!! Easy ,delicious - just the right size to cheat,share but not big enough to overindulge and feel guilty :)

I'm not a chocolate cake fan, however this is my only exception. It tastes delicious from the icing top to the moist crumbly bottom. I never want to share it. On some occasions I have gotten a dry cake, so quality isn't always at it's greatest.
I wish it wasn't so pricey, or I'd buy it all the time.

i love this cake so much it reminds me of my childhood. my grandmother use to always buy this whenever i went over to her house. the taste is amazing and the icing is amazing as well. when i want a treat at home this is one of my first choices when i go to the grocery store . it fills my midnight craving . love love love this cake !!!!

A delicious and convenient cake to have at hand in the freezer. I like the texture of the cake, it's not too dense. It has a rich taste, and good flavour. The icing topping is yummy, and goes nicely with the cake.

Mccain deep and delicious cakes are chocolatey, fresh and moist. It's hard to stop eating it. They are so good that my boyfriend has requested them as birthday cake. A pleasant surprise for a grocery store cake.

For a relatively inexpensive, store-bought dessert, these are really tasty. Of course I prefer homemade desserts, but this is probably one of the only store-bought desserts I would even consider. I bake a fair bit and while baking a cake is easy, I always find making the icing, waiting for it to cool and then icing it to be a bit of a chore. This is a effortless weeknight dessert.

I love this cake so much that since I am 13 years old (and I am now 36) this is what my mom bought me for easter. It started with a joke but me and my brother and sister we were so happy to receive this cake for easter that it is now a tradition in our family. The taste is amazing alway soft and sweet. The icing is amazing (I am trying a lot of copycat recipe to be able to recreate it but nope nothing is as good as the original). When we want a treat at home this is the cake I buy and sadly we always eat it in 1 or 2 days maximum.

This is one product that I've enjoyed for many years and know I will for many more. The chocolate cake and frosting so easily melts in my mouth. It's just rich enough to fill that midnight craving. I'll slice it up and eat it nearly frozen straight from freezer (or straight from the tray on those "girly" nights). I also love it thawed and enjoyed as a dessert. Sometimes (very rarely) I'll even share one with friends. With everything else nowadays, unfortunately the cost has risen to a point where instead of a grocery staple for my home - it is now a once in a while treat.
