Great picture but that blinking light...

We purchased this monitor because it had a 5 star review, a wide screen with a great picture quality, a transmission range of up to 1000 feet and a downloadable app for our phones.
It was all wonderful until night time. The camera has a blinking purple and blue light that cannot be turned off and has woken up or kept my baby awake. I had to cover it with electrical tape and leave a little light on in order to make the room more peaceful and a bit less agressive.
The monitor stand could be a lot more sturdy as it is just a foldable metal ring similar to the ones you can get for your cellphone.

If it wasn’t for the light and maybe the stand, this product would get a 5 star from me.
