Needs fiddling

Following the directions, we tried the mix with rum, then with coconut rum, then with bourbon; the last version was the best, with lots of ice and a dash of salt. My mom, sister, and I all found it way too sweet, but if you're the experimental type, it could find its way into some less cloying permutations.

Too sweet

The Mott's Mr and Mrs T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix was way too sweet for us.

We tried 2 different recipes and found it very sweet. The original recipe provides on the bottle was the worst. Bad flavoring. Would not buy this one again.

Convenient but not my thing

Perhaps it's just me, but I'm really not into very sweet drinks, and this mix makes a drink just that. I made a few during a dinner party and some guests enjoyed it, but others had the same impression as me. It could be a great product for some, but it's not for me.

No way, really gross and sweet.

Just not my kind of drink at all. Too sweet and fruity, they need to mix it up with something else and get away from the usual boring fruit drinks. Not yummy at all.

Not my favorite

First of all i have never been a fan of Mai Tai's. The mix did taste quite close to the drinks i have ordered at restaurants. So i guess if a person did enjoy drinking them, than this would be a good way to make them at home.

summer mixer

The mai tai cocktail mixer was good , but wasn't my favourite compared to the blue raspberry one. It has a good taste but was too sweet and tropical for my liking, there for could only have one glass.
For the sweeter people who love tropical flavour this would be great.

Good if you're in a pinch

I love mixed drinks, but don't personally love overly sweet drinks. This falls some place in between. Great if you're throwing a party and want to mix a number of drinks, but I think for sipping, I'd prefer to mix from scratch for better quality ingredients and less sugar.

Quick and easy, just the ticket for a fun night at home

Mott's Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix had a nice taste to it. I liked it with lots of ice, both on its own and with alcohol.

I wish it had less sugar so we added some soda water to lighten the mix up

As a member of ChickAdvisor who #gotitfree I would recommend taking the time and making your cocktails from scratch.

Delightful reward

I was very excited to get the opportunity to try the Mai Mai cocktail through. ChickAdvisor. It's was a delightful reward. The first time I tried it I followed the instructions on the bottle and was a bit a disappointed. I didn't finish the drink and wouldn't try the recipe again. I then tried a couple different recipes that came with the coupons I got which I believe you can find on the website. Such an improvement. I found adding juice to the mix made all the difference in the world and would buy it again if I had some sort of juice like pineapple or cranberry to go with it. It was too tart without.
