Not what I was expecting

I #gotitfree and thhought I would save this mixer for this Canada Day Weekend seeing as we had a bbq and wanted to get an opinion from others as well. Not what we were expecting from this mixer at all. I'm a big fan of mixed drinks and so are my friends but this one didn't do it for any of us. Extremely sweet and cheap tasting. I do like the fact that there are multiple mix recipes, but will not be something I will be purchasing again. I recommend this mix to beginners at mixing drinks and that don't mind sweeter drinks.

Parfait pour l'été!

Les mélanges à Cocktail Mott's sont un must pour recevoir des invités cet été. En gardant une bouteille toujours prête pour l'utilisation dans le garde-manger, on s'assure de pouvoir servir de délicieux cocktails à la visite en un rien de temps. Personnellement, j'ai adoré la recette proposée sur la bouteille!

Perfect Mai Tai

Mixed it with ice, Iceberg brand vodka and blended til smooth. I'm allergic to rum, so I replaced it with vodka. It basically tasted like a well mixed Mai Tai that I ordered at my fave bar. I followed the measurements on the bottle for the mix.

Tasty

This product was tasty and added a nice change to my cocktails. Simple to use and very refreshing on a hot summer day. Very refreshing!!Would use again.

Very Sweet, but good

I have got to be honest: this mix was VERY hard for me to find. I went to 5 other grocery stores before I finally found it in a large Loblaws. That is why I am a little late on the review.

For me, this mix was very sweet. Even if I didn't mix a lot in, it was still extremely sweet. It almost tasted like a melted Freezie (you know those frozen tubes?). But I did enjoy it. It is very refreshing on a hot day.

Great taste, loved it!

I don't usually buy premixes for drinks, alcoholic or otherwise, but these ones sounded too good to pass. I was very glad I did, as this one is great. Better still, doesn't have a fake or artificial taste.

I tried this product a few different ways: first, as per their suggested blend (on the bottle), and as a mock-tail with ginger ale. Both were refreshing and had a nice, fruity taste. It is a bit sweet, so use less if you prefer something less sugary.

I like to be creative with my cocktail mixes and look forward to trying this product with other drinks.

If you like cocktails, but don't want to mix them yourself, this is a definitely a good option. Well worth trying.

Un petit plus pour mes cocktails d'été

J'ai goûté au Mr & Mrs Mai Tai Cocktail Mix de Mott's que j'ai reçu en #cadeau. Je l'ai servi sans alcool et en cocktail avec alcool. Dans l'un ou l'autre des cas, j'ai bien apprécié le goût et cela donne un punch à mes cocktails. Cependant, je trouve ça vraiment très sucré, un peu trop pour moi, malgré le bon goût.

Too sweet for me

I got this for free from the review club.

This mix is too sweet for my liking, and seemed to be lacking a certain je ne sais quoi I couldn't quite figure out.There seemed to be a bit of an odd aftertaste that left me trying to get rid of it even after I stopped drinking it. I would really just prefer to make a Mai Tai fresh, even with the extra work, than use this mix.

Needs fiddling

Following the directions, we tried the mix with rum, then with coconut rum, then with bourbon; the last version was the best, with lots of ice and a dash of salt. My mom, sister, and I all found it way too sweet, but if you're the experimental type, it could find its way into some less cloying permutations.

Release your inner bartender

What a fun mix to work with. There are so many great cocktail recipes to play with. Little goes a long way. It does have a bit of artificial flavor to it, but by adjusting the other ingredients you can create miracle drinks.
