Sadly It Stings
When I applied this onto my face, I felt a little sting the first time. And then 2nd and 3rd. So this is a no for me. I was thinking maybe it's not just for me. Still I would recommend this to anyone who wants to tray Clarins mositurizer.
Meh
I received Clarins Re-boost Refreshing Moisturizing Cream free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I feel just meh about this cream. It felt fine on my face and I would say it was more like a gel than a cream. I didn't care for the strong perfume smell, I couldn't put it on before bed it was so overpowering. It felt nice on my skin and didn't leave an oily or thick residue. The cost isn't astronomical but my usual face cream is a bit cheaper and more effective. I won't purchase again; it wasn't for me but I wouldn't say its terrible.
Does what it says
Having a oily / combination complexion I personally wouldnt purchase this product again as I found it kinda just left an oily layer across my skin and the shine would never go away.
Very smooth texture and light weight. Just not meant for oily complexions..
It was okay
I tired this product after a few days in the sun to help put some moisture back in to my dry skin. I have fairly sensitive skin and it didn't seem to do much for it. I did not have any reactions to the product but it also didn't rehydrate my skin. The smell was refreshing and it was not greasy to apply. It is not something I would actively seek out to buy but if I had to I would use it again. Got it free in my ecobox!
It's ok
I found My Clarins Re-Boost Refreshing Hydrating Cream to be pretty average overall. It did not leave me feeling refreshed nor very hydrated, but I have dry skin and the cream is indicated as being for normal skin. People with normal skin may have a better experience. The cream's texture was nice and smooth, and I did feel that it absorbed well and did not leave any greasy or tacky feeling behind.
However, I really did not like the cream's scent, which I found to be quite strong on application (thankfully it does fade). It's very floral, bordering on patchouli, and reminds me of old fashioned grandmother perfume from the 1980s. Not my style at all.
I received this cream as a #gotitfree product as part of the #ChickAdvisorEcoBox campaign, but my opinions are my own.
Works great- smells awful
I got this product free as part of April’s eco box through chickadvisor. I was excited to try this cream because who doesn’t need extra moisture !? Plus it was vegan. It did a great job of making my skin feel soft but I couldn’t get over how strong it smelt ! I did not like it at all and actually didn’t end up using much more of it , which sucks because it did make my face look good.
Not a good moisturizer
I got this for free in my eco box just when I needed a good moisturizer for my dry skin but I was not satisfied my skin feels dry even after using this and it has a strong fragrance attached to it which is a big NO for me.
Disappointed!
I was excited to try product, as I love trying new skincare products but this has a pretty strong scent. I think the product would be great without the strong scent.
It’s very light weight, almost like a gel. It did make my face feel fresh and moisturized but it’s not something I could use everyday because of the scent.
*received this product for free.
Okay
Wasnt a fan..not hydrating enough on my skin just kind of tugged a bit when rubbing it in vs bringing moisture. I have not found anything from this brand I actually enjoy either.
