Not a fan

I received this product from Clarins and Chickadvisor for my honest review.


I wasn’t really a fan of this. It felt heavy in my face. Yes, it’s purpose is for moisture but my face felt oily from it.

I also was not impressed with the size of the bottle. Not convinced your getting a good value.

Not very effective!

I was excited to try this moisturizer as I heard raving reviews about it. When I first applied it, I was surprised that it has a strange texture. It's not greasy, but it feels like a film that just sits on your skin. I was also shocked by the heavy fragrance in the cream. It seems just like perfume, which I did not like. It did not do a very good job moisturizing my skin. Overall, I would not buy this product and do not recommend it. There are many cheaper and more effective alternatives.

Moisturizing but clogged my pores

Clarins usually makes a really nice, premium skincare product. This reboost refreshing hydrating cream was a disappointment.

First impression is the scent. It hits you as soon as you take the lid off of the bottle. It is very scented. Kind of floral, it really lingers. I don't like my face smelling so strongly. I do not appreciate the smell at all.

My skin is dry and sensitive. This product is marketed to skin like mine, however, it did not deliver. Instead of fading my blemishes, it caused congested skin and large blemishes after only 3-4 days of use.

The cream smoothes onto skin nicely, but doesn't absorb well. I found that it left a film on my face and felt a bit greasy.

I love the ingredient list, mostly natural, and SLS sulfate free. Despite this, though, it irritated my sensitive skin.

This product should be a hit. It's made by Clarins, a reputable brand. It is made with quality, mostly natural ingredients. It is marketed to my skin type. It just didn't deliver for my skin, however. Instead of hydrating, it congested. It was over scented. I would not buy this product myself, nor would I recommend it.

Good Moisturizing Cream

I tried using this cream for a few weeks now. It's a good cream, but definitely not my favourite for the price point or for my skin. It has a nice smell, and leaves the skin feeling soft.

Gets the job

This cream moisturizes, but not any better or worse than your average drugstore cream, for double the price. You’re basically paying for the brand. I think I’ll pass

I liked, but didn't love

I found pros and cons with this moisturizer. The pros are that it has a light gel-like texture, absorbs in the skin easily and does hydrate the skin. The cons is the scent, which is super fruity (some may like that) but I imagine someone sensitive to smell will probably dislike the product. Good cream, but nothing special especially for the price.

Great product

I received this for free from chicken visor to test and review I honestly enjoyed this moisturizer for the fact that it soaked into my skin and it left it nice and soft and it is not really heavy which means that people who are prone to breakouts might really enjoy this product this is something that I'll be purchasing in the future and looking into other products that they might have

Hard to tell

I got this cream for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I don’t think the sample I got was enough I like to try creams for at least a week to see if I notice a change in my skins appearance, but I was only able to get two days out of it. What I did notice was it goes on your skin nice, it does however leave your with a bit of tackiness. I didn’t really notice a change in my skin.

My Clarins Re-boost - Can't get past smell

Face products can be hard for me to find, I have Excoriation Disorder. Which is a OCD related disorder where I pick my face constantly either due to stress or unconsciously. This means most of the time there's at least one scab healing or an open wound.

Unfortunately I had a lot of gripes with this cream, but I will start with the positive.

Firstly, it didn't irritate my already irritated skin, it soaks in quickly and left my skin feeling soft. It's overall a nice feeling cream.

But the smell...it has musty floral scent that isn't overpowering but strong enough to last almost the whole day. I kept getting whiffs of it, and I don't like it.

I didn't like the packaging either, if I forgot to place it upright, it was a struggle to get any product out.

Finally the brand clarins (from my research) is not cruelty free. This is an important factor to me.

Very little

I felt that the tiny pocket tube was not enough for me to go back and recommend it to anyone, the texture was good, very light and fragrance free moisturizer, but still a long way to go
