Strawberry Fantasy

I've tried a lot of micellar waters in the last several years, and this one has to be my favourite so far. It has a wonderful scent that isn't overpowering and leaves your skin feeling clean and smooth. There's no sticky residue or anything like that, which is great because some micellar waters leave a weird tacky feeling behind. The size is adequate for the price. With daily use, it should last two or three months. I should also mention that in the autumn and winter, I have really sensitive skin, and this hasn't troubled me at all; it's absolutely correct when it states excellent for all skin types! I'd buy it again if the opportunity arose.

Unfortunately It Did Not Remove My Makeup

I received this product for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Chick Advisor and Clarins as part of the 2022 Eco Box #gotitfree. I love that it has Moringa extract and Golden Gentian extract to remove pollution from your skin. It also says vegan friendly right on the box. This product is scented and smells very fruity. The bottle it comes in is well designed with a great cap that won't leak while still being easy to open. The opening is made in a way where the micellar water doesn't all pour out at once; it is very controlled by slightly squeezing the bottle to get exactly how much you need. I don't usually use a micellar water as part of my daily routine so I was super excited to try this, however I found that it didn't remove all of my makeup. The very first time I used it to take off my makeup I was wearing a full glam look with full coverage foundation, bright pink eyeshadow and winged liner. After Soaking my reusable cotton rounds with the micellar water and allowing it to sit on my face and eyelids for a few minutes the eyeshadow came off no problem and most but not all of the foundation came off, however it struggled to take off the eyeliner and mascara (both were not waterproof just fyi) so I ended up having to wash my face with my usual cleanser. I kept using it a few more times and even with lighter makeup I got the same results; it never fully removed all of my foundation even when it wasn't full coverage and it doesn't remove mascara and liquid eyeliner. It also slightly irritated my cheeks and eyelids so I cannot recommend this product. It gains 2 stars mainly because of the positives of the bottle design and decent price point of $24.00. Everyone's skin is different and we all wear different types of makeup so this may work for you but it did not work for me.

scented micellar water

I was very surprised to find out this product has a very strong scent. I am used to using scent free micellar water. When I looked at the ingredients I noticed it contains moringa extract to remove pollutants. The scent is not unpleasant, however it is quite strong. My Clarins micellar cleansing water cleaned my skin, removed mascara and did not leave my skin dried out. For these reasons I will purchase it in the future and will recommend it to others.

Clean face

I never realized how much dirt and grime gets into my pores. I was using a cleanser before but this is something else. Though the packaging says to use it twice a day, I had to reduce that to once. Using it twice a day made my skin dry.

Vegan Friendly!

I love it! A perfect vegan friendly micellar water that actually cleanses and removes makeup off while still smoothing my skin. It’s so gentle that it does not dry out my skin, like most products do. I highly recommend this mascara. It works and it’s vegan :)

Really good at removing makeup!

I typically use other less expensive micellar waters to remove my makeup, however this one was equally as effective at removing the makeup. I would say less expensive versions of micellar water work just as well.

Loved it

Great product. I love how it was easy to use, wipes off make up really good and quick. I love the product design. Very simple but aesthetically pleasing.

Not overly impressed.

I love micellar water. I have another brand that I use regularly and it works great. I loved the scent of this product, but when I used it, it didn't take all the makeup off my face. I was a bit disappointed and had even used several cotton pads with generous amounts of the product on it.

One swipe

How simple to use. I love this. Just one swipe and my make up off!!! Like seriously a must have make up remover. With having teens in the house, you should buy this as part of their make up regiment.

Good product

This micellar water by Clarins was very nice. It did a great job at removing my mascara without having to rub my eyes too much. But the smell of it is way too strong, and it lingers on the skin for quite a while. Also, it worked well on my makeup, but it made my eyes burn when I used it for my mascara. So I'll continue using it, but not on my eyes. It works well for a quick freshening up of the skin, or just to take off the last remnants of makeup and dirt from the day.
