Just started using the biotin pills for about a month. I've started using the to strengthen nails and thicken my hair. Haven't seen an improvement on my hair but my nails are in much better shape and much stronger. Will continue to use them for another month to see more results if any

I started taking Biotin and it did help with my hair shine and I thought my nails were getting a little stronger but I had to stop due to side effects. Acne was starting to flair up on my face and shoulders and I wasn't always feeling the best. I'd say take this at your own risk!

I take Biotin for my nails, which are normally pretty decent, but every now and then get a little bit delicate and peel. Biotin helps strengthen nails, hair and can even improve skin. I find that when I am taking biotin, my nails are less prone to peeling and breaking and grow faster than when I'm not. An added bonus to biotin is that it is also used in the body to help convert carbs into glucose which helps the body product energy and in turn can help speed up metabolism- never a bad thing if you're trying to loose a bit of weight. I like Nature's Bounty biotin in particular, as their pill size is large enough that you only need to take one a day, yet the pills are still quite small.
