Not bad

This spreads nice on the face and I did see results but I’m not sure if it was from this product or the serum or what. One of these products, I believe this one, leaves kind of a gross film on your face. So if you touch your face it gets on your hands. Not a huge deal. I’d probably either buy just this or just the serum and expect the same results.

Feels nice but heavy scent

This gel cream is a very liquidy gel with a pearlescent quality to it. It looks kind of milky and applies smoothly on to your skin. It is strongly scented, however and it doesn't really sink into your skin. It's ok, but I will stick to my normal, boring moisturizer. Skip this one if you have sensitive skn.

Not moisturizing enough

I have always wanted to try these Neutrogena moisturizers in the luxurious looking containers. They look so much more expensive than they are! Unfortunately this one was a flop for me because it didn’t give me the hydration my face needs after using the AHA products. However, when combined with the CeraVe Moisture Cream, it feels great in the skin. I used a combination of that and then The Ordinary’s Squalene oil at night and my skin drank it up. But I don’t think I would repurchase. I would recommend to those with oily skin, but parched skin like mine just doesn’t do it. Maybe in the summer I will try it again. Very fun to try it out though! Malheureusement pas un produit qui me convient

Bien que j’ai apprécié les produits de cette gamme, le gel crème n’a pas répondu à mes attentes. Tout d’abord, celui-ci a une texture qui tire beaucoup plus vers une crème régulière que vers un gel-crème. Ensuite, son odeur n’est pas aussi agréable que les autres produits que propose cette gamme. Finalement, il faut que j’applique une très petite quantité du produit sinon j’ai le visage qui demeure huileux alors que je n’ai pas une peau à tendance grasse. Bref, ce n’est pas mon coup de coeur de cette gamme!

It just might work for you

I didn’t really see this working for me. It didn’t do much for my skin but made me start breaking out so I had to stop it. I feel that this product might work for some people but I just guess neutrogena has something in it that is not right for my skin.

Didn’t win me over

I’ve been running low on my current face moisturizer and have textured skin so because of the AHA I was excited to try this. The scent is a little flowery, it was tolerable but certainly not preferable (to me). They texture is gel, which to me, is generally fine, if you like gels you may like this. It felt fine going on but I felt like it didn’t fully absorb and left me feeling a bit sticky rather than moisturized. I decided to try it without the serum, and it felt less sticky but still fairly sticky. I need moisturizers that absorb quickly, or else I hate the feeling I’m left with.

It did leave my skin looking brighter, but it appears to have a shimmery formula, so I’m not sure if that’s JUST the moisturizer formula and just superficial and not really MY skin. I also broke out a tiny bit right after using it, so perhaps it’s just not compatible with my skin.

For me, I’d use this in a pinch but wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase it.

Boosting Gel-Cream

Neutrogena’s Bright Boost Gel-cream moisturizer is said to hydrate skin while complementing skin cell renewal, in order to give you instantly brighter, smoother and more luminous looking skin. I received this product, complements of ChickAdvisor, for testing and review purposes.
This gel-cream moisturizer is exactly as it sounds: it is a cream suspended in a gel. So while it has a creamy texture to it, it smoothes over your skin like a gel moisturizer does, while avoiding the greasiness that you sometimes get with moisturizing creams. This moisturizer has a very lightweight feel to it between your fingers. I applied this moisturizer in the morning and at night, as directed.
I think that it does make my skin look less dull and more awake. However, there are a couple things about this product that I am not so fond of. Even after an hour or more of having applied this moisturizer to my skin, it still didn’t feel as if it had completely absorbed. It left me feeling as if I had a sort of film on my face. Also, when I touch my face, it leaves this weird silicon/oily feeling on my fingers; kind of like what invisible hair oil feels like.
So, while this product works well enough to make my skin look less dull, I don’t personally think that I would buy it in future. If you plan on putting makeup on over it or only using it before bed, the feeling of it on your skin might not be a problem for you. In that case, this Bright Boost Gel-cream might still be a possible option for you.

While this lotion is light, smells great, and has nice packaging, it did not sink into the skin nicely. If it doesn't pill off your face in white clumps, it will be sticky and stick your face to your pillow. For that reason, I would not purchase this. Luckily, I #GotItFree

Too highly fragranced

The texture of the cream feels nice; consistency is good, not too thick, not too watery, quite moisturizing. But this product line is so highly fragranced and the smell lasts for so long even after washing... just not for me. Not sure if it does what it claims because I haven’t had enough time to try it out for long enough. #gotitfree #NeutrogenaBrightBoost

Not sure I’d purchase again

I received this product for free as part of the product review club. I like the consistency of the product, as well as the sent. It went on nicely, and did leave my face feeling smooth. It does have a bit of a sparkle to it, which some people might not care for. One thing I did notice however, was that I was seem to have more clogged pores on my face after using this product line. This would make me hesitate to purchase it again.
