I really enjoyed this as a moisturizer. It didn't bother my skin at all and made my skin feel hydrated. The scent wasn't very appealing, smelled of a strong artificial fragrance but that being said, I thought it would bother my skin but it didn't. As a primer I have to say it was a fail.
The price is right for a good moisturizer but I was expecting more from this product.

My skin is combination regular/dry - and quite sensitive. I was very surprised when I opened the jar that this product is very heavily scented! It's a fake floral/perfumey smell that I really, really don't like. I think most of us that have sensitive skin prefer scent-free products (or at least way more lightly scented).
Fortunately, despite the strong smell, this product did not/does not irritate my skin.
I do not particularly like the packaging, I would have preferred that this come in a pump bottle. The jar is messy and I feel like I am contaminating it every time I dip into it.
A little bit of this product goes a long way. It spreads evenly and easily over the face, and feels light and smooth. I really liked the feel of it on my skin.
As a primer, this product was a fail for me. It wasn't moisturizing enough (weird, considering it is designed for dry skin and mine isn't even THAT dry). A few hours into the day EVERY SINGLE TIME I wore it, my makeup had lifted and was sitting on top of visible patches of dry skin. GROSS! This NEVER happens with my usual moisturizer that I wear underneath my makeup. No matter what I tried (exfoliating, leaving at least a half hour between primer and makeup application...) nothing worked. This "primer" just caused my makeup to separate from my face. Very strange. I actually had to wash my face in the bathroom at work and just go makeup free because that honestly looked better than the weird patches this stuff left on my face.
I would not purchase this product, nor would I recommend it as a primer for anybody with really dry skin - you're better off with a great moisturizer, in my opinion.

I liked the coverage of this face primer/lotion. It wasn't greasy and was a great base layer for makeup. I didn't really like the smell of it though, and felt that it smelled a little like baby lotion. A scent free version would be amazing!!

I was so excited when the package arrived in the mail! I had to hold myself back from trying it right away, but I wanted to give the product a fair chance, so I waited until the next morning. Upon opening the jar, the first strike against the product hit me right away with an overpowering floral/rose scent. I am not partial to strong smelling products and so was initially disappointed with this. But I soldiered on, determined to carry through with the review. The product went on well enough - absorbed quickly, not sticky or slimy. Makeup went on nicely overtop. But then, a couple hours later, my face is feeling tight and dry. I am on the third day of using this exclusively in the morning and have to say I think I am done. This product is not providing anything new or outstanding, and the smell and resulting tightness have not been cancelled out by a positive effect. I so appreciate that I got the chance to try this product, but I will not continue with it, nor would I purchase or recommend. #NIVEAMustHaves. #gotitfree.

I was excited to try this product because this would simplify my daily routine by one step AND save me a lot of money (from the expensive moisturizers & the primers). One of the biggest surprises for me was that it didn't instantly absorb as I thought it would - it actually took quite a bit of massaging into my face before it got absorbed (but maybe its because my skin is not as dry as others). Once it was on my face, it felt almost PLASTIC. I'm skeptical on how much moisturizing it is providing for my face but it is the absolute smoothest surface !!

My make up didn't last as long using this. I typically use the Smashbox primer and I guess it has a more adhesive surface for my make up. With this product, my foundation would sit on top and gradually rub off throughout the day (even though I use a make up setting spray).

I'll continue to keep using it and see if I can make small modifications to my make up routine to make it work because I love the product otherwise !

Upon opening the primer, I noticed it looked thinner than my usual primer and had some shine to it. I also wonder why, for hygiene reasons, it was in a jar rather than a tube or bottle.

I used the primer and found it quite moisturizing but it also made my skin look shiny. Since I primarily use primer to get rid of shine, this was a little disappointing. After applying a quick dusting of loose powder, the shine was gone.

While I did enjoy the quenched feeling it gave my skin, this is not a product I would purchase.

Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer is not for me. Great texture, absorbs quickly, but just not moisturizing enough and I had to follow up with my regular moisturizer.

When I first opened this product I absolutely loved the smell. The consistency of this cream is very nice and it went on very smooth. It appeared nice and smooth on my face until I put makeup over top of it. After about 20 minutes my face appeared very flaky and dry. Unfortunately this is not the product for my skin but I do appreciate the opportunity to have been able to try it out!

Drugstore primers are something a lot of people look for, because the prices at higher-end stores tend to be a little crazy. When I saw this was being offered, I had to give it a try because I have dry skin, and I'm on a hunt for a primer that I like.

This is a cream/gel consistency. It is heavily fragranced, which is surprising because it's also supposed to be for sensitive skin types. It dries down fairly quickly, creating a smooth base to apply your makeup.

I will say on its own, it is not enough for my dry skin. I have to wear another moisturizer underneath the primer to be sure that my skin gets hydrated, or else I'm left with dry patches.

I got this as part of the campaign and was surprisingly pleased with the primer

I love how lightweight it felt on my skin after I applied it. It was also easy for my skin to absorb. It also has helped my makeup stay on longer than compare to my regular primer. You don't need a lot of primer to cover all you face which is great because usually I got through a lot form my regular brand.

Even tho it worked great there is a few flaws that I didn't like from this primer. I found the scent of the primer very powering but it did not cause any break outs. I didn't find that the primer acted as a moisturizer so I will be using my regular moisturizer in the morning and the the primer. I also noticed that my foundation wouldn't glide when applying so I needed to use a little more than usually.

Overall for a drugstore primer it works well , I would probably purchase but there is a few things that need a little work.
