This product is lightweight and has a light airy scent which is great as a facial cream, that when applied to the face feels hydrated and light on the face. This, as a moisturizer works in all seasons, where in the warmer months your pores are able to breathe and in the colder months your face is hydrated which prevents your skin from drying out and cracking. As a primer, being so lightweight, it is a great product to build on top of, whether it is just BB cream or a full face of glam, you're good to go and your skin is protected.

Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer (Dry to Sensitive) is a great base for make-up.
The texture is like jelly and the smell is so subtle and fresh. It is super easy and smooth to apply to my face and the smell vanishes. It makes my foundation apply like a dream. The only reason I removed a star was that my makeup didn't last longer as advertised. This primer also did not irritate my sensitive skin one bit. I received this product for review from Chickadvisor and was edger to try it because I love love love several other Nivea product. This product will not being joining those products on my list of must-haves.

I'll start with its effectiveness. It is supposed to be a primer and moisturizer, but it does neither job particularly well. It's odd jelly-like consistency was difficult to work with in a jar (it really should be in a pump simply for ease of use, not to mention hygiene.).Once I managed to get the hang of getting it out of the jar and on my face, it felt hydrating and soothing but within 2 hours my face felt parched. The next time I used it, I tried apply a little more, thinking that maybe I wasn't using enough product, but it started ball up and fall off (GROSS!) as I rubbed it in.

As for being a primer, I didn't notice any increase of wear time, smoother application, or better finish. I used my everyday foundation which is a light-medium coverage product that tends to work with most primers, but The Nivea product did nothing for the the foundation. After a couple of tries with my everyday foundation, I tried using it with a full coverage, water proof foundation that I bust out for weddings and other important events. That stuff will last all day and withstand the apocalypse. The primer actually made the wear time worse. After about 4 hours my foundation broke down and started to flake (compared to the 14+ hours I can typically get out of the foundation). That has never happened with my regular routine. I think it's because the 2 in 1 formula doesn't keep my skin moisturized for any length of time.

After about a week of testing, I started to break out. That's when I tossed the jar in the trash.

Overall, don't bother. This 2 in 1 product can't do either job decently, it's packaging is awkward and not suited to the product , and it made me break out.

I got to #tryitfree from #chickadvisor , this is very smooth on this skin when applied. No scent really, very pleasant. It's not sticky or cakey.. the absorbentness of it is great, it doesn't sit on the top of the skin, it sinks in nicely.
Overall i was pleased with this product!

I received this from Chickadvisor to try for free, I have never used a primer on my face before but was very eager to see if there would be a difference while wearing face makeup. I liked that this had more of a gel consistency because sometimes when using foundation it can leave your face looking dry and this defiantly helped the makeup apply more evenly to my skin.

I felt that throughout the day my makeup lasted longer and also looked better than it normally would. This applies very well and has a light scent which I quite liked. I used this in the morning before applying makeup and also before bed on its own to see what affects it had on my skin on its own.

I genuinely liked how this made my skin less dry and gave it an overall soft feel. I'm a huge fan of Nivea products in general and this was even better than I was already expecting it to be. I would highly recommend it, such an easy step to take to give you a better makeup application and even make your skin nicer.

This is a lotion that also acts as a makeup primer, and bonus it is for dry or sensitive skin (that's me!).

Sadly it isn't that great though. I love nivea so I had some high hopes. It is just a nice day lotion if you ask me and does nothing to help prime my skin.
Yes it does hydrate my skin and absorb fast, which is great pre foundation application, but nope nothing to make my foundation stay all day or prime it.

I would consider buying this again for a day cream, but my skin is so dry it wasn't enough plus it has no spf in it.

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to test out and review. I've been using it as a base for my makeup for the past week and I've really been enjoying it. It leaves my dry skin feeling hydrated without leaving a greasy feeling. It works great underneath makeup as a primer as well. I'd say it does pretty well at both moisturizing and priming (as it is intended!). My only complaint (why I give it 4/5 for effectiveness) is that I wish it could blur or fill in pores and fine lines. I have larger pores in the centre of my face and I find that I need to use a pore-filling primer in conjunction with this product in order to get my desired look.

Overall, I really enjoy this product and would recommend trying it out!

J'ai vraiment aimer la base hydratante 2 en 1 pour peau sèche à sensible de Nivea. Premièrement l'odeur est très agréable, c'est la même odeur que tous les produits Nivea. J'ai beaucoup aimer la texture qui rappelle un peu un gel. L'application est très facile puisque le produits est très soyeux et ne laisse aucun fini collant ou gras.
Pour ce qui est de l'action hydratante, ma peau ne tiraillais pas et n'a pas rougis non plus.
Pour ce qui est de l'action en tant que base. J'ai trouver que mon maquillage s'appliquait mieux sur cette base puisqu'elle est soyeuse. J'ai trouver aussi que ma zone en T devenais plus huileuse que ma base habituelle. Malgré tout, une fois repoudrer sur ma zone en T, je trouve que cette base fait bien son travail.

J'adore cette crème !! C'est une base extra et surtout qui laisse la peau fraîche et douce ! Utilisée sous le fond de teint, elle permet un fini doux et naturel. J'aime l'odeur et surtout l'effet frais qu'elle laisse. J'ai très hâte de l'essayer lors de journées chaudes.
