grew up with a mother that used nivea creme daily. i do find it to be a very effective moisturizer, the only reason i don't use it is because I find it takes forever to absorb and I don't enjoy the feeling on my hands afterwards.

I have tried not only numerous other moisturizers but other types of creme from Nivea and I have to say this one seems to be the best of the brand.

I live in Northern Ontario and the winter can be very harsh on my skin especially my hands and wrists. This product is very thick and is great for the very dry skin. My hands can get so dry they start to hurt but I've found with regular use of this product my skin has been weathering this season amazingly!

I became introduced to Nivea Cream in 2006, when I worked @ the BNIA Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Cheektowaga, NY. By an african-american passenger that was directed to throw it out cause you can't take more than 2 ounces each container on the airplane. So I accepted, although out of sight I threw it out. As an employees we weren't allowed to accept any items from passengers. On my off time I went to the drugstore & bought the large can. My skin always needed a moisturizing cream and I never knew it. After using I became a fan, and kept it around my home. In 2013, I had surgery where my neck was cut open to remove nodules on my thyroid. I used Nivea to heal my incision. My surgeon was impressed how I was able to heal my neck area where one can't tell I even had been opened up. Then later on in the year I broke out with something. And my primary had me see the allergist which worked out of the same clinic. I was tested and learned I'm allergic to everything but dogs. And the prescription they gave me didn't work until I mixed the Nivea with it to stop the itching and hives. Now I mix Nivea with facial creams I buy, and Ammonium Lactate 12% prescription lotions and creams I use. Along with some coconut oi. and vegetable glycerin. As I have became middle aged and have so many things that I'm dealing with health wise. I have been diagnosed with eczema. Even my dermatologist is impressed how I am able to lubricate & moisturize my skin. I told them I guess I should with all the products I use. It takes me an hour to prepare by my skin. i also incorporated coconut oil in my diet. So between the coconut oil & the vegetable glycerin it's suppose to lock the moisture in. I even got my sister hooked on it.

I definatley can say i love the smell. However i find the product way to thick for my personal use. I feel like the product sits on top of my skin leaving a greasy residue, i don't really like that feeling. On the other hand its great for hydrating your hands and feet at night whilst i sleep.

It's really thick but great. It really leaves a long lasting effect. You will stay moisturizers for the whole day! I use it daily for my face and it's amazing!

J'adore l'odeur laissété sur la peau lorsqu'on l'applique! J'ai un métier qui demande à ce que je me lave les mains régulièrement et elles sont vraiment à sèches. La crème apaise mes mains irrités mais n'hydrate pas assez.

I love the Classic smell of this creme. It provides my skin with great moisture, softness. It helps a lot with my dry feets. This is one of my favorite product from the NIVEA family!

It is a great big classic, and I would recommend it to any one to try it but it's just not for me. It sits on top of my skin, my skin breaks out from it, it does not moisturize, it does not hydrate. If I put it on sunburn it feels like I put acid on my skin. But as in the company I do like other products they have, ust this one doesn't work for me though even in the family some swear by it.
