I tried the NIVEA Essential Lip Balm and I only used it at night as I find that during the day it fades really quickly. I don't find it as moisturizing as the one I use at the moment.
I got this for free as part of the Nivea skin care package. I didn't like it. It felt like I constantly had a thick plastic feel on my lips. Doesn't feel like it actually absorbs. After one drink, half of it is gone. The price itself of $1.99 is not bad. I can't see this lasting long enough to provide 12 hours of moisture.
I was sent this from ChickAdvisor Review Club for review. You can never have enough of a good lip balm. This is quite moisturizing. Not sure about the 12 hour claim as I have to reapply it a few times throughout the day.
I liked the smooth application but I found myself reapplying more often then with other lip balms. For that reason I wouldn't purchase it again but since I love most Nivea products, i'd be willing to try other lip balms with better moisturizing
I don't like the odour, and taste. Price is so good.
I try again this product because I received for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club #gotitfree #NIVEAMustHaves.
I was very surprised because smell is good, may be I bought a expired product in a discount store. Finally I will buy this lip
balm again. Taste is good and odour smell fresh, is a delicate scent.
I purchased a pack of two of the Nivea Essential lip balm while I was standing in line at the grocery store. My lips were extremely chapped and I needed instant relief. I was disappointed in this product because after about 2-3 minutes of applying it to my lips, the product seemed to wear off and my lips were completely dry again.
If you are looking for a cheap alternative to other products out there (I'm specifically referring to the nivea balm with menthal in it) this is it. It does not work as well, and it tends to stay on less... but it's okay.
