Inspired by the rich red camelia, No1 de Chanel L’eau Rouge calls up on some passionate scent notes like red berries and citrus in the top that open into a heart of romantic jasmine, rose and orange blossom, which sit on a serene base of iris and musk.

As the camelia flower doesn’t really come with it’s own scent, the search was on far and wide to bring together a composition that evoked the flower’s connotations.

The very uniqueness of camelia inspired perfumers to generate an original floral bouquet for No1 de Chanel L’eau Rouge. It led them down a path of many contrasts.

It all started with a multitude of jasmine, orange blossom and rose floral facets, typical of the House of Chanel, then these were combined with some sparkling red fruits to embody the freshness of this fragrance mist

This is a light fragrance mist that can be worn as a perfume on your pulse points or layered with another fragrance. 97% of the ingredients that make up No1 de Chanel L’eau Rouge have natural origin. The fragrance will be available in 100ml bottles from around $110.
