What a revolutionary Primer

I got this product complimentary from Chick Advisor for testing and review. The jelly like texture of Primer is one of a kind that I have tried Absorbs well on skin and gives the skin a natural glow that lasts all day.

So Innovative!

I have to say right off the bat that I was pretty skeptical about trying this product when I first received it. I know that jelly products have slowly been entering the beauty world in the form of highlighters but this is the first time I'm hearing about a jelly PRIMER. Either way, I obviously tried it and was pretty excited to see that it was hydrating which is key for these cold oncoming months when my skin feels like the Sahara desert. The jelly consistency was super weird when I first touched it - which I will say I only did once, and then continued scooping it out with a beauty spatula - and kinda fun I'm not gonna lie. I also grabbed a lot the first time, after which I realized that a little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Upon application it felt very much like a water based moisturizer like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line or the Belif Water Bomb, which I really enjoyed. It applied quite nicely and basically absorbed into the skin, leaving it a little tacky which I don't mind. I used the Nyx Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil and the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer over it and both blended reaaaaaally nicely with this primer. As for longevity, I put the product on at 7am and my makeup stayed on until I took it off at 5pm before heading to the gym, save for the occasional powder touch-ups which I always do anyway.

Overall I'm quite pleased with this primer and will definitely continue using it. I do wish it had more a pore-filling aspect but that is probably my only grievance.

It goes back to shape how cute is that!

I received this product for free from Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest review.I love how it goes back to shape. My makeup goes on smooth,the primer does have a sticky feeling to it after it settles down on skin but that’s how it creates a base to the keep the foundation in place. I am not a fan of heavy primers or heavy makeup because my skin breaks out quickly, But this is a very lightweight primer I have used in a quite while and it’s working out great with my skin while keeping it moisturized and my makeup in place.

Fun to apply, and works great too

This is one of my favourite steps of my skincare in the morning, dubbed my “life-giving” jelly primer. Hyaluronic acid has the amazing ability to plump up my skin and helps to illuminate any dry flakes. I love how this feels so fresh going onto my skin – although it does have a bit of a difficult application process. Like rubbing Jell-O on your skin, it can break apart and get a bit messy. Also the jar packaging is not very sanitary. Regardless, I still love the product and would recommend it’s efficiency at keeping my makeup even, fresh and long lasting. #gotitfree

J'ai été choisie pour faire l'essai de ce nouveau produit et d'en donner mon honnête opinion que voici:
Quel plaisir d'utiliser cette nouvelle base en gel de NYX. Elle est ultra légère et inodore. Donc, elle s'applique sans faire de gâchis par-dessus nos soins quotidiens de jour avant le maquillage.
En plus de rafraichir ma peau, elle fait maintenir le maquillage plus longtemps. Fons de teint, poudre bronzante et fards à joue tiennent vraiment mieux toute la journée! Je suis impressionnée.
Je la recommande donc à toutes celles qui aiment les produits de qualité! :)

Different make up item!

This is not your normal everyday make up item I’ve come across. This primer had a very hydrating feel to it but it was to my surprise a gel when I opened the container. It was easy to apply and didn’t leave any residue feeling as some primers have probably because it seemed so lightweight and hydrating. I’m very interested to see how my skin reacts long term but so far it is easy on my acne prone skin. I got this item free to review for my opinion.

Evening surface!

First off, I absolutely love how the product feels once it has been applied. It has a silky feeling upon application despite the fact that it is a jelly. This product has a water-based formula, and thanks to the aloe and cucumber extracts, it feels great on the skin. Leave it set before applying makeup and you'll see a reduction in pores and creates an even surface. I'll admit that the very first time you feel the product, you're not entirely sure just how much to scoop out, but trust me, just a little bit goes a long way! As a drugstore brand, recommended! Don't let the texture fool you

Upon breaking into this, I was so weirded out by the texture. It looks and feels just like jello. I did struggle with the texture a bit as it can break off in chunks that are hard to work with. I think this is a bit of a learning curve but I will not let that "dock" marks for my review, because it is a wonderful primer. It feels like absolutely nothing on the skin and absorbs so nicely that I am not worried to put product on top as I would with many other "thicker" primers I have used in the past. I wear toner, moisturizer and SPF and this can be tricky to mask with primer, but this product makes me feel like I never had anything on it at all. It is very refreshing to wear. As for longevity, I didn't see any pilling I usually experience and my foundation went well over it. I would highly recommend, if you can deal with the interesting texture.

Perfect for those dry flaky parts!

I had received this product complimentary from ChickAdvisor in exchange for a review of my experience. I had never used a primer like this before and so went in a little skeptical of its effectiveness, but being a big fan of NYX products was nevertheless excited.

I used a little scoop to apply the primer on my face and waited for it to feel "tacky" similar to my other primers, but it had a more "soaked in" and moisturizing effect on my skin. I followed it with the skin tint I had also received from ChickAdvisor.

Fast forward to my day, it was hot, went on the public transit for an hour, ran around campus, went to a lab, wore my glasses all day and lab goggles and when I finally came home I was blown away by the fact that my makeup was still holding up! Especially my biggest problem spots like my dry skin on my nostrils and how my makeup always lifts on the bridge of my nose.

Amazing Jelly!

When I first received this item I thought I would hate it since usually primers do not come in a jelly form! It is actually amazing! I think because it is jelly it helps your makeup stick to it and last better!
