A really good read! A love story over time and history!

I was definitely in the story from book one and on. Many a night staying up late to just read a little more. What a love story full of action and adventure too!

A escape from reality.

I started off with the series first and automatically fall in love with all the characters. Except Jack and Frank Randall lol. It makes you wish for a true love like Jamie and Claire. A love that last the ages of time. After falling in love with the show. It only made sense to get the books and I haven't been disappointed. The show pretty much to some extent match the shows. But the books of course have more details that they couldn't put in the series. If you love outlander you will full head of heels for the books.

I admit I saw the show before I read the books but the books are fantastic! Was recommended to me to read the actual books and so glad I did. Such an addictive series :)

This is probably one of the best series I have read as far as entertainment value goes. It really is an addicting read. i just wish I hadn't waited so long to start it! A must read!

J'ai découvert cette série de livres à l'école secondaire et j'en suis folle depuis! L'histoire est superbe avec son coté surnaturel, historique et amoureux. Les personnages de Claire et Jamie sont bien pensés en tous points et on nous garde en haleine en tout temps. Je suis de près les sorties des prochains tomes et la série télévisée qui a suivi vaut la peine aussi.

Cette série est extraordinaire et nous garde en haleine du debut à la fin. On veut toujours savoir ce qui va arriver plus loin. Et que dire de la série télévisée! C'est extraordinaire, tous ces personnages qu'on aime et tous les beaux paysages. C'est plusieurs très gros livres à lire mais on en veut toujours plus! A lire!

Simply AMAZING

Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, is my all time favourite read. I own each and every book in this series, including ALL of the Lorde John series as well. I am sitting here patiently awaiting her to finish another book in the series. These are books, I will never give up, they are and have been read multiple times already.

These books are a perfect combination of romance and suspense, and have always kept me on the edge of my seat. Over the past few years, I have gotten so many of my friends hooked on reading this series. <3 <3

I loved this series so much. It was such a fun,exciting and unique read. So different then the average book. I loved the historical facts all tangled up in an amazing story. I have to be honest the last couple books of the series have not been as exciting as the first 4. I couldn't put the early books down.

This book series is a must read for everyone woman. I fell in love with the characters in the very first book and was hooked after that. I love historical fiction, but I don't like cheesy romance novels, which this is not.
There’s intrigue, and a period of sexual tension, and then lots of serious rutting. But the first thing you notice about “Outlander,” long before the castles-and-moors part starts to kick in, is that it’s a carefully written book, with three-dimensional characters inhabiting a complex, believable world. You will be hooked!!

These books should be on the must read list for every woman! The author creates such a beautiful picture of the protagonists love and the adventures that these two share, that it is impossible not to fall in love with them and hang on every word in every book!
