Salon quality results at home

I get parts of my face waxed but I couldn't anymore since salons are closed due to covid-19. After seeing really good reviews on Amazon i decided to give it a try. The hot wax for face, brow and bikini is strip less and you apply with spatula and pull it off with you fingers. I saw maybe two videos online and went ahead. Apply thick layer and pull out when it is a bit set. Very easy to use. I put a piece of foil on my electric stove and put the container on it to avoid mess on my stove. Very effective. Was able to wax areas in one go. Amazing results.

Works great!

I had purchased this product a while ago and never got around to using it. Fortunately it came it really handy once COVID-19 had all non essential businesses shut down. It works great and is fairly easy to use. The only thing I didnt like about it is that you're constantly having to go back and warm the wax up or simply sticking around the kitchen to get the waxing done as it hardens after a while so for larger surfaces this may not be ideal. It did a great job even with my bikini wax.

Your average waxing kit

Aside from shaving every now and then I like to wax my legs because shaving leaves my legs feeling stubbly. The wax kit comes with an after wax oil which I find is too oily and slightly burns my skin. I haven't had this problem with any other wax kits before and am not allergic to anything so I'm not quite sure what caused the slight burning sensation.

It does not work

I bought this product with a such high expectation and it was so disappointing!
First, because it says to heat until half its melted DONT DO IT. When the wax it's not hot enough it drys so quickly into the skin that when you pull it off it will break and won't pull the hair off.
Second, because it hurts 3x more than the warm wax.
The only good side it's that doesn't need strips to pull it off, but I don't recommend.

I got this as whenever I would use wax strips on my face it would break me out. I absolutely love this but there are some cons to it. I have thick coarse hair so I got the wax for that hair. The issue is that after I wax even if I moisturize quite a bit I still have dry patches on my mustache. Another issue I had was the popsicle sticks they provided. These were too wide and did not allow for precision. Lastly you have to apply the wax around 2-4 times for all the hair to come out and even then sometimes a few strands are left over. I did however, like the price and how simple it was too use it. I think this would work better for thinner hair.

Love parissa hot wax. Very easy to use and easy clean up. Wax is very effective, very comparable to having done in salon except in the privacy of your own home.
