It is a natural product that provides an awesome experience in DIY waxing.
It was really effective and I got a good sensation on my skin.
I believe it is a natural wax and provides more smoothness!

Great waxing kit for facial hair

I like that the kit includes everything that is needed to get a good wax, however, I'd have to say that warming it up, it was slightly inconvenient to heat it up using the double boiler method as opposed to the microwave. I found that using the wax was pretty effective at removing most hairs at a time, but sometimes there were several hairs being missed by the wax strip. I do want to mention that not requiring strips was nice as it was less wasteful and more sustainable, which is a plus in my books! I think that overall it is a decent product but I think that expanding the methods on how to heat it up would bring a larger audience to purchase and use the product more regularly.

Natural Waxing at Home

I tried the Parissa Hot Wax Face & Lip No Strip. and the Ultra Soothe Oil. I was given these products free in exchange for my honest review.

This comes with an instruction booklet which was very helpful. I chose to warm my wax on my electric stove top. It took about 7 - 10 minutes and some patience. It was hard to tell when it was melting underneath but I used the spatula to get underneath and turn the puck over to get things going and then was able to mix the wax to the recommended consistency.

I smoothed the wax thickly over my upper lip area, let it cool slightly and then pulled the wax off. I liked that no strips were needed at all. I also used the wax on my chin area. I found it worked very well to remove my facial hair.

I had no irritation with this product or redness at all. I like that the product is natural. I would say the wax cools pretty quickly so you need to work fairly swiftly if you don’t want to heat the wax up again. I will use the remainder of this wax up and consider purchasing in the future.

I really loved the oil afterwards to remove any left over wax and to soothe the waxed area. It has a nice light fragrance.

Natural face and lip hot wax

Parissa natural hot wax is quite easy to use. Even though I don’t wax much I was able to follow instructions and use it right the first time. I would say this product works just as good as non natural products. I did have a couple dark hairs left behind but thinking that’s from my lack of experience.
Wax melts beautifully. Dries fast so you have ‘scoop’ and apply almost right away. Wasn’t too hot at all, temperature was fine. Oil provided takes of left over wax like a breeze. Packaging is great, recyclable box with 2 different size popsicle sticks (3 total), a metal measuring cup with the wax in it already that you just put on a electric stove top on low to melt, small spray oil and instructions.

Messy But Effective

I used it on my upper lip, which I had never done. I was so surprised how much came off. I did my eyebrows. It was very effective. I only had to go over one area again. I had trouble not making a mess, which might be from my lack of experience. I also was not a fan of the smell. The oil really helped with getting the extra was off your skin and cooling the pain. Overall though, it was great!

Don’t like it

I was excited to try this product however I do not like that it basically comes in a metal measuring cup and heated up is dangerous. Wish you came in like a roll-on or something.

no i did not see a difference using a natural product because natural is just a buzzword and it’s use and meaning is not regulated at all so it does not make a difference whether something is natural or not since the word natural has no actual meaning .

I usually shave and was recently sent out the Hot Wax Face & Lip No-Strip from Parissa to review. I’m shook. I had no idea they made waxing with no strips. This made the process so easy to use. Simply just apply and take off. I didn’t have to feel like I was ripping off bandaids. I used it on my eyebrows and upper lip. Took the hair right off! Great product. Can’t wait to add this to my weekly routine.

Gentle and easy to use

Finally found an easy and gentle way to remove facial hair without irritating skin. Very convenient to warm the wax on the stove with no mess. Application and peeling gets easier with repetitive use. Skin does not feel bumpy or dry after use. The ultra soothe oil also does a great job moisturizing the skin.
