I have tried these wax strips and they worked well, I used them on my underarms. I have since switched to using the Parissa Chamomile Body Sugar, it's a tub and lasts a lot longer. Strongly recommended, and works well if you follow their waxing tips.

I would not recommend this product. The strips barely work to remove any hair (and I tried this on my face, legs, arms). Pricey for a product that does not work well in my experience.

The cold wax strips are the best of there type. The price is a little high but worth it as they work on short hair and coarse without a lot of pain. The strips can be cut to fit or come in different sizes. The important thing is to follow the directions and pull against the hair.

Okay so love the product and it works great , legs are smooth and no residue left over ..

I have a couple gripes about the product though.

    1) they need more of the solution wipes to removes the excess wax afterwards .

    2) to be 100% effective u need to grow the hair to a uncomfortably long point , in other wards i tried the even for short hair version on my legs and it dident work well with short hair.

Despite those easy fixes i love the strips and even bought the warm wax as well :)

This was my first time waxing, so after many, many hours of research, I decided to try out this product. Parissa had generally positive reviews, and when I went to the drugstore, it just happened to be on sale!

Of course, I first did a patch test, and though it was painful, with a bit of redness afterwards, I didn't get any allergic reactions to it. (Btw, I got the wax strips for legs and body.) I did everything correct, and maybe it was just my pain tolerance level, but I couldn't use a full strip at a time. I had to cut it up into 4 sections, so that's why maybe I missed hairs and stuff, and I also had trouble waxing the back of my legs.

Let's just say that though it took a long time (long breaks and bouts of swearing after pulling off each strip), I was pretty happy with the results -- until I noticed hair growing back about a week after I waxed. I don't think my technique was wrong (against direction of hair and parallel to the skin), but maybe I just haven't mastered the cycle of hair growth on my legs.

But I think that after more practice, it should get better. The azulene oil included worked pretty well (there was WAY more oil included than needed), but I think that if you can, you should take some ibuprofen beforehand to lessen the pain. A bonus was that there was no godawful smell and that each strip could be used twice (no more, or else it wouldn't stick).

I recommend these strips to anyone you has unwanted hair, especially on the face, and is on the go.

I am usually very busy so I don't have time to make appointments all the time at the salon for a good face waxing. On the same note, being busy doesn't lean itself to time standing around waiting for wax to heat up, cool down cause its to hot, and heat up again cause I didn't get to it fast enough. I also hate the mess of wax and trying to cleanup after it.

Unlike other wax strips, these strip actually grab the hairs and leave little to no wax behind on face. The are easy to use too. The directions tell you to rub between hand to warm up the wax but I usually rub them against a towel to warm them faster. You then peel the strips apart and you have two strips to use.

Now the price is a little more pricey then the normal drug store brand strips but they work better and you have to use less of them cause of it so they last longer and pay for them self.

Parissa wax strips work very well. It's a quick and easy process for home use. I wax my own underarms with these and it removes almost all hairs with the exception of a few in which I need to tweeze. I rarely have any wax that remains on my skin so I don't even need to use the azulene oil that is included in the box. If you have sensitive skin, I do recommend putting baby powder on the area before applying the wax strip.

I've always been afraid to wax. The dangers, pain, and mess was unthinkable. But anything to avoid the stubble. After looking at many reviews, I could see the majority of the online community was pleased with these wax strips.
And I'm glad I bought it. It was quite cheap, $10 for a box of 8 double sided strips. To use, the strips are rubbed. the double strips are peeled apart, smoothed on the skin, and zipped off. It was really that easy!! Best of all, the strips can be cut for smaller areas, and reused. And I forgot to mention it was almost PAINLESS! I felt a small tug but no discomfort afterwards, and i had to double check to see if the hair was gone. When reusing, smoothing the strips a few more times and giving it more rubs makes it more effective.
As with any other product, it takes practise, but On my first, I got the whole patch off. The trick is to be decisive. Hesitate and it will leave some hair behind. On thicker hair, there is the occasional stray hair. you can just pluck or try again the next day.
The only thing i dislike is that the wax is not water soluble, and that it takes practise. But it comes with oil to remove the wax, and is made from natural ingredients! I think these are the best wax strips ever!! My skin has never been smoother.

I forgot to add i use these on legs and underarms. It takes me about 5-15 mins for underarms, and 15-30 mins for legs. But very worth it.

    Yo guy.
Soo, I'm visiting an old city and want smooth legs (that will last longer, so i don't need to worry bout shaving)
being too young to go to a "professional" about the issue, I bought Parissa Leg & Body Wax Strips. I had always seen Parissa products on the shelves and wanted to try them , because they come in a pretty box. Don't judge a book by it's cover deff. applies here. for every strip, me (and two friends) spent like, five minutes heating them up! And then, once they were ON my legs, they maybe got about 45% of the hairs in a select area. And for pain, I guess it just depends on what kind of person you are. It kind of tickled me in an unpleasent way. A painful way.
Sooo, if you're into patchy skin, go for it!
