The only thing I ever use cream cheese for is for recipes that absolutely need it. Overall I really do not like the taste of it on its own.

I get a lot of use from Philadelphia Cream Cheese. We spread it on a bagel, melt it a bit and dip veggies, the base for my cheese balls, meal preparation, adding to sauces and making decadent desserts. This is one product that I always have in the fridge. Has a creamy texture that is smooth and flavourful. It's thankfully often on sale.

I love this cream cheese, it's really good quality and perfect for making the best cheesecake ever! The one negative I have to say is that it is pretty expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's so creamy and cheesy and delicious.

This brand of cream cheese has been around for years. It's not .99 cents at Target here. I still buy it cause there are so many uses for it.

This is still my go to cream cheese. Though - if you are simple using the non-flavoured kind, store brands are just as good.. ie: No Name, Presidents Choice. However, I love their Smoked Salmon and various Herbs cream cheeses. I would NOT recommend the ones that are the lowest in fat and calories. The light is just fine, but the later is just putrid. It was plain disgusting and is not an alternative, rather something horrid to taste and ended up in my garbage completely full. I eat their smokes salmon cream cheese weekly, and have used the chocolate and the regular to make delicious cheese cake. I like their brand.. and almost every flavour they have.
