I received a deluxe sample of this a couple of months ago and I liked it. I have combination skin with hyper-sensitivity and I had no reactions to it. It actually helped my skin. I have been trying a lot of new skin products lately and had my first breakout ever on my chin. The cleanser helped greatly with clearing it up. This has a fragrance but is mild compared to others I've tried. This is a must to try, at least once.

I use Purity together with my clarisonic and it works really well. It doesn't foam up and dry out your skin like the typical SLS cleanser. Purity has a very soft, cream-like texture that feels very soothing on the skin. However, I wouldn't recommend using this alone to say your face if you seat makeup. I would use a makeup remover first or an oil cleaner and follow up with Purity. iMO, it doesn't remove eye makeup well, unless it's just light shadow.

Although the price for this stuff is a little on the high end, I got a free 90ml sample around christmas time and I'm just at half a bottle today! I wash my face twice daily with this, and it removes nearly all of my makeup, including my eye makeup. It doesn't burn my eyes when I rub it on them to get my mascara off, it's got a milky texture to it and I don't mind the smell. Great product from philosophy!

I received a generously sized sample of this product a couple months ago and I just finished up the bottle. I am in love! This is the first facial cleaner I have ever used that really delivers on everything it promises.
This stuff will take off my eye makup, no special removers required. I was dubious that it would do a sufficient job of eye liner, but it took off every trace just washing my face (paying a little extra attention to my eyes, but nothing like the bother of makeup removers and cotton balls!) And it has never bothered my eyes, either.
It also exfoliates so gently, but the effect is immediately noticeable. I had been using it for a couple weeks and then took a week off to finish off an old cleanser, and when I went back to the Purity product, the difference was both visible and tactile. So smooth and somehow, brighter!
And in spite of the great cleaning, my skin is not dried out by it (and I have pretty dry and sensitive skin.)
I'm going to pick up another bottle today, in spite of the price :(, because I just don't want to be without this stuff now. Its amazing!

I've tried this product before in a small sample and I was blown away by how just using it for a few days my skin felt fresher and more nourished. I recently received a larger bottle of the product and I have to say that despite the price, a little goes a long way. It has this very light forest-y scent with the refreshing hint of sage that doesn't cling to the skin but helps add to the freshness when you apply, my skin isn't squeaky-clean afterwards but nicely supple and moisturized!. I think I'm continuing with this product for time to come.

I bought this product because it was recommended to me by an associate and it was the last of this that they had in the store. It’s a one-step facial cleanser.

Packaging: I love the bottle this came in, I mean its just a standard bottle but I love the text on it, and the fact that its just a really clean solid design. Also this purity, smells AMAZING! I don’t even know how to describe the smell.


Performance: OMG I am in love with this cleanser. I started using it in the morning when I wake up and then again before I go to bed, and in the week or so I’ve been using it my skin has gotten softer and clearer. I’ve been sick off and on with the most stupid viral infection and it’s been making me break out and Purity took care of it right away.
It also removes makeup so easily, I only use 3 smallish drops on my fingertips for my whole face when I wash it, and this was enough to remove a full face of makeup no problem. Didn’t get rid of my mascara as easily but that’s in part because I am very hesitant to rub product in around my eyes.

Buy again?
Absolutely I will be buying another bottle once this one eventually runs out. Hopefully I can find it on sale because it’s normally around $40CAD for the size I got. ^.^

Overall: 10/10 love it.

If you have normal to oily skin, in my opinion, this is not the cleanser for you. That being said, if you have dry skin it is lovely. This is a rub on, rinse off cleanser and doesn't make my skin feel tight after using. Full of natural oils, it leaves your skin soft and supple. Great for dry skin.

This product is sooo worth the price you pay. I have tried all kinds of skin care products recently and this by far is my favourite and the most effective. I found that when you pair it with a cleansing brush (I use a small travel sized Sephora one) the effects are maximized. I love it!!

I definitely think it's worth it to pay for products that just work SO well. I recently tried Purity and I love it. I first tried it in the shower with a full face of makeup on. It took everything off so well. I couldn't believe how it took off all of my mascara, eyeliner, etc, and I didn't get any tightness to my skin or burning in my eye area afterwards. In fact, after I use it, my skin feels pretty soft and looks nourished and clean. I've tried my old cleanser after trying Purity and it just doesn't compare. Love this product.

I am on my second bottle of Purity.

I love it. It's gentle, I like the smell (a lot of people complain of the medicinal smell) as it reminds me of lavender and clean. It takes off all of my makeup effectively and leaves my skin feeling great. I don't have to use a toner afterwards. I don't even have to use a moisturizer after if I don't want to...but I do because I it

It is expensive. Especially in Canada. You can pick it up at Sephora and the Bay though. I bought it first from the website. Big no no. To ship to Canada I had to pay a Fedex bill of an extra $60 bucks on top of the $16 I paid to Philosophy. I think I ordered $120 bucks worth of stuff. Not impressed.
I like to buy the kits from Philosophy as they are a better value and come with great stuff. I have become a Philosophy girl and I will not go back. It is worth it to me as I have seen a great improvement in my skin texture and I suffer from less breakouts. As well, it lasts a long time. I use one pump and my first bottle lasted over 6 months!
Try it. It's good stuff.
