The Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser is one of my favourites for removing dirt and makeup. The scent was a little off putting at first, but I quickly got over that once I saw how effective this cleanser is. Luckily the scent does not linger. This cleaner is so gentle and it just dissolves all of my makeup so easily, leaving my skin feeling extremely clean! I do have dry skin and I've found that this cleanser may contribute to that slightly, so I only use it a few times a week. I think it would really be amazing for those of you with combo/oily skin!

I use this face cleanser as a everyday cleanser for the daytime. I find I am oily so it cleanses those unwanted oils easily so when I apply my make up it can be a flawless application. It can be drying so make sure to use a moisturizer or serum after and before make up application

I love giving Philosophy as gifts. The brand seems very sophisticated and premium. The packaging is fun and always catches my eye. The scent is lovely and it cleans very well.

This cleanser is on the pricey side, however, I do find it an effective cleanser. It removes my make up and does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I alternate days with an exfoliator. Overall, a decent product.

I heard lot of good things about it, so I bought the small bottle from sephora to try, I love the fact it works great with my oily face without drying my face and i dont put lot of make up, just extremely oILy face, breaks out easily. It's a great cleanser and I don't get a lot of breakouts like I used to, it's a bit expensive and I am not good in using a big bottle for long time period..but it's helps on controlling my greasnesss

I have been using this for the past 6 months with my Mia2 Clarisonic. I find it works well at cleansing including removing my makeup. I don't find it dries out my face too much which is nice because I already have very dry skin. It works well but I wouldn't call it a 'Holy Grail Item' and will likely try a new cleanser once I am finished with this.

I bought this product at Sephora on Black Friday as one of their $13 CAD deals. I love the gentle scent and the way it makes my skin feel. I don't really like how it dispenses so I put a pump on the bottle to make it more efficient. I am not sure If I would pay the full retail price for this product ($40-50 CAD) but I will buy it again next Black Friday!

This is by far my favourite cleanser. It's actually a make up remover, cleanser and toner all in one, so it's great for getting ready in a hurry. A 12 Oz bottle lasts over 6 months so it's worth the price!

I've had no issues with this cleanser and it does not break me out or anything. It removes my makeup well, but if wearing foundation, I like to use a makeup removing wipe or toner afterwards just to get off the remaining traces. The only issue is the price. I would never buy this full price, but for the past few years this has always been offered for extremely cheap at Sephora's black friday/boxing day sales.

Best cleanser I've used to date. Although it can be a bit pricey, if you buy the cleanser when its on sale, its the best. This is the only cleanser I've used so far where my face doesn't feel 'tight' after using. Not only does it remove my makeup completely, but my acne has calmed down as well. I also love the lemoney smell!
