I was a bit 'not sure' at first. but when I tried one I was quit happy with them. I love chocolate, so I was sold on that.....

So good - can't believe it's a plant-based protein bar!

Protein bars have been a staple in my household for quite sometime as we live a very fast-paced, on-the-go lifestyle (at times). Sometimes the protein bars I have had in the past were hard on my stomach, but to my relief, these Plant Protein Powerbars don't bother me at all. They are delicious and so far the best tasting, low carb, low sugar, high protein bar that I've been able to test. The Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate was my least favourite flavour, but it was still enjoyable. I received it for free for testing in exchange for my honest review. I will definitely be recommending these to my friends and family, and have already purchased more as they make amazingly affordable meal replacements. I have found them at Costco for an affordable price!

good tasting protein bar

Got this for free to try along with 2 other flavours. This power bar has a great crunch and was very filling (has 10g of protein). I liked the saltiness of the sea salt, however, I found it to be a bit too sweet (10g of sugar). Overall, it's a good and convenient on the go snack/breakfast.

Delicious Treat

Granola bars are my No1 friend with my busy schedule. I'm always excited to try new brands and was happily surprised with power bar seal salt. The flavor is very subtle and a great sack.

Too sweet for my tastebuds!

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to try. I’ve had Power Bars before so was excited to try their new Plant Protein Bar. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations.

The flavour was Almond, Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt so I expected a nice cocoa taste but instead it was super sweet. All I tasted was sugar and it reminded me of eating a rice crispie square. When I looked at the ingredients, the second one is cane sugar which doesn’t seem very healthy. I appreciate it gives you 10g of protein but don’t think it’s very healthy overall so if you’re looking for a healthy protein bar, this isn’t it. Won’t be buying this again!

Power bar plant protein almond

The taste was ok. I liked the almond taste. Wasn't too sweet . Overall it was a good combination. But it was kinda hard. The nuts were tough to bite. I didn't really enjoy the taste of it. Left a weird after taste

High quality bar!

Out of the three new options from PowerBar's new line, the almond plant, sea salt, dark chocolate is my favourite! there is a thin layer of chocolate on the back of the bar and its full of yummy nuts and grains. It's perfect to grab and go and I've used mine as a breakfast substitute! Will buy again!

This was my second favourite flavour: the Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate. My two year old seemed to love them all the same. She just wanted more! (They are that delicious!) I still was in disbelief that these were vegan, they certainly have the chocolate taste down!

For the Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate I don’t think they aren’t really worth the calories. I know they are better calories than a chocolate bar, but they almost double some chocolate bars. I know they aren’t a candy bar and they have protein - which has calories; but I think they kinda fall between to two needs for me. The first being a sweet craving, and the second being a protein bar. They don’t seem to have enough protein to really be a protein substitute for me (maybe because they are vegan), and they are too high in calories to be a nutritious sweet fix.

Powerbar plant protein bars are a great snack

I reveieved this bar to try for free from chickadvisor. At first glance, I thought these are small, but when I read the package and saw there is 10g of plant protein, I was impressed. The ingredients are all natural which I liked and the flavor combination of almonds, dark chocolate and sea salt were very tasty. I also enjoyed the texture because t was chewy bu also had a bit of crunch with the nuts. I was also impressed with how low the sugars and carbs were. I will definitely be buying again and recommending. I would say these bars should be about $1.99 each because they are small.

Tasty protein snack

I received freebies to try. This is one of the best tasting, low carb, low sugar, high protein bar that I've tried. It is great for afternoon snack, road trips, camping. For sure I will buy it from store!
