good source of probiotics

Tastes like a pecan tart.....

This bar can be purchased for $4 at Loblaws. It is quite expensive so I try to look for sales. It is 200 calories and contains 10% calcium and 44% fibre. When you open the packaging you get a nice cinnamon and spice smell. There is a layer of fermented Greek yogurt coating around the bar. The Greek Yogurt layer is not overly thick but it does have a great vanilla flavor with a kick of cinnamon. The exterior coating compliments the pecan and cinnamon flavor inside the bar. The Greek Yogurt coating also adds a nice sweetness to the overall bar since the inside of the bar is not sweet. The inside of the protein bar is made up of a protein blend, pecan pieces, raisins, protein crisps. The raisins add a nice sweetness as well as a more chewy texture. There are also pieces of pecans and rice crisps within that add a great texture contrast. The inside of the bar has a pecan tart flavor minus the ooey filling. There is a nice pecan, cinnamon and spice flavor. There is not a strong protein taste to this bar. The bar is chewy and there are crunchy parts too.
