Wow to finally come across a good tasting healthy rice pack!
I'm blown away by the flavor in this little pouch, to me its worth the little extra money compared to other rices (example Uncle Bens) you get what you pay for, and your health is worth the little extra money in my eyes.
They killed this and I cant wait to try more flavours!

Enjoyed by the entire family

This was quick and easy to make! Being a busy Mom of 2, I'm always looking for something healthy, tasty and quick to make for my family. My youngest is not always a fan of grains but she liked the lemon flavour. It was a little dry so I added some fresh lemon juice and a couple tablespoons of water and it was perfect! I'll be purchasing more in the very near future. Thank you Pur Grains!

Great quick meal

PURGRAINS is ready in two minutes! Great as a fast meal or even better as a side dish. The grains mix add texture and complements healthy meals as complex carbs.

Quick and healthy!

This made a fast and easy side dish! I enjoyed the texture but found it had a plasticy taste similar to other microwave pouches. I liked that it included grains that I wouldn’t normally cook! Would buy again for the convenience.

Different flavours would be better

I didn't really like the dill flavour, it was really weird with rice and quinoa. I didn't mind the texture and the cooking of the product was convenient and quick. Maybe a different flavour would be better for me.

Flavorful, but dry

I tried this with fish and it paired nicely! It was very flavorful and filling. I warmed it in the microwave and found that it was quite dry. That was the only thing I didn't like.

Thought it was good just not amazing

Thought it wasn’t to bad. I might give the other flavours a chance as this one didn’t taste the greatest. It had a good texture and great source of nutrients.

Easy and quick rice in 90 seconds

I received purgrains lemon dill from chickadvisor. Instead of waiting for an hour for my rice to be cooked in a rice cooker, purgrains only take 90 seconds in the microwave to heat up. The flavour is very good and perfect to go with any proteins or vegetables.

I didn’t have much expectations with this product as it contains brown rice and quinoa. These 2 things can be bland and tasteless but this product blew my mind. It also has farro. So all 3 main ingredients/grains are full of nutrients and fiber. This is very tasty for a healthy side dish. It was absolutely easy to prepare this to eat. I just had to heat it in the microwave and ready. I had it in lunch with some avocado and the combination was just delicious. I highly recommend this.

Good Product for Others

First of all, this is a super quick and easy meal. If you're pressed for time this would be a great option for something light and on the go. It's a microwaveable pouch that you tear open and pop in the microwave for under 2 minutes. Right off the bat I could smell the dill when I opened the pouch. I could definitely tasted it, but I found the lemon part quite mild. Overall it was a very herbacous type of taste. I think the flavour I chose would have benefitted a lot from hot sauce or something just as punchy. I think it's no the type of meal I would reach for over and over, but I would try another flavour. I like the ease of preparation, the ingredients used and how it's a simple way of incorporating more plant-based meals into everyday food.
