Very good quality

My cat loves to eat and this is her favorite type of wet cat food. I have got a few coupons and that's why I bought a few cans for my little one. Unfortunately, it is very expensive and I cannot afford it very often.

Even our cat ate it!

Our eldest cat is now 18 years old and quite finicky. She does not eat any fish flavoured cat food, wet or dry, not even treats. BUT, she devoured the sample I received of this type of wet food, salmon. I couldn't believe she ate it all. I guess it was that good!

Great for a partial wet-food diet!

My cats are not very picky when it comes to wet food, so it was no surprise when I put this down for them and they gobbled it up in no time at all. They seemed to really enjoy all three flavours, either served as-is or when mixed with water, and afterwards it never seemed to upset their digestion. If you're feeding it full-time, you will need to introduce slowly as with any cat food. One can is enough for half a day's food for one cat (depending on weight), but you can also split a can for a snack between two or more cats.

From a nutritional point of view there’s a lot to like here. Each flavour comes out of the can as a soft, dark brown cat food that almost resembles pate. The smell is quite strong, and according to the box, fish or chicken is the main ingredient in each recipe. There’s also no sign that I could see of any fillers in the ingredients list, and they’re made without corn, wheat or soy (a common allergen in cats). After about a week of mixing this wet food with their usual dry food they still seem extremely eager to have it again, so they’re definitely enjoying the taste.

One downside to this item is the price. For roughly $15 you get 12 very small cans. If you’re looking for the most cost-effective food option for your cat, this probably won’t be it. If instead you’re willing to pay more for a food with no artificial colours or flavours and which includes a good deal of chicken/fish, this will probably be right up your alley. Since we only feed wet food, twice a week - as recommended by our vet - it's not too expensive for us.
