I bought the lip butter in that orange colour. I like that it's a sheer, but no too sheer, gloss type balm. I love trying different combos like putting a pink gloss on top. 5 Star rating, wtg Revlon!

I absolutely love these lip butters! I bought one to test it out and ended up buying two more a week later. All of them are a nice consistancy and they are not drying at all. The only downside is that the color does not last very long but when its on it looks beautiful so i don't mind doing touch ups. Also the smell is not offensive at all like some lip sticks can be.

Overall an awesome product and it is worth buying !

I LOVE this lipcolor! I have Pink Truffle, which is a medium pink shade, and it. is. fabulous. It makes my lips feel so good, and the color is great for my skin tone. It's long lasting and it offers a great finish. When I was purchasing this I noticed that Revlon offers a lot of different color choices, which is good because no one color works on every girl. The packaging is cute too, which is a great bonus. I would definitely reccomend this product!

I have the shade peach parfait, so far these lip butters look and feel nice on the lips. It gives a really pretty natural sheen to my lips, but doesn't last a long time. Peach parfait has some gritty glitter in it,but it's not too annoying. Maybe the other shades in this line are more moisturizing, since i found this one to feel a bit drying.

Overall, if you are looking for a lip product that isnt too pigmented or too sheer, these lip butters might be an option for you! I heard they come in about 20 shades so you will be sure to find one that will work for you.

I got a free sample of this through Target but I am in no way affiliated with them whatsoever.

I got the color in Peach Parfait and it has amazing staying power. It is hydrating, has an amazing scent, and I would imagine would be flattering to all skin tones.

However, the glitter can be an issue for this particular color. It is that gritty kind that will still stay put even AFTER you wipe off the product. A serious issue for me and probably for a lot of women over the age of 20.

If you love hydrating balms in the summer that go on effortlessly, this product is for you.

As a lip balm, most of the lighter/sheer colors work well. Some (like Sweet Tart), have a little more of a dry texture and it doesn't cover that evenly. The darker colors fade quickly on my inner lip (no eating/drinking either) but the outside stays bright so I have to reapply often. They're more matte than glossy.

I'll stick to what I usually do which is put a light coat of lip balm (Blistex) on my lips before my regular lipstick or gloss.

I bought this in Sweet Tart and it does a wonderful job at covering up my highly pigmented lips. It's the perfect pinkish coral colour for the summer. No funky smell or taste. I don't usually wear lip products because they don't cover my pigmented lips without a lot of primer or concealer first, but this one does. I wasn't expecting much because it is a drugstore brand, but I couldn't resist because of all the great reviews it got.

I love this lipstick as it's a lipbalm and lipstick in one. Some colors are sheer while others are pigmented. It really is moisturizing, no need to apply a balm underneath but the only downside it's not that long lasting as it's not a matte lipstick. You may need to apply 2-4 times a day especially if color fades.

i waited and waited to try one of these, unsure about how i'd like it, as i'm not a huge lip product person. finally i tried one, and am so glad i did. these are creamy and smooth, so hydrating and very well pigmented. the color selection is nice -- i have shade 001 pink truffle, a "my lips but better" shade. these are great on their own or with a gloss on top, etc. i find that i don't need to put a balm underneath, because they're just that moisturizing. the wear time is excellent, especially for something so soft -- usually a few hours. love them. x

I know everyone seems to just love Lip Butters. I know I was super excited to try them when I first heard of them because of all the hype. It took a few weeks for them to show up in my locals stores, and when they finally did, they were constantly sold out.

The first color I tried was Sugar Frosting. It was sheer, but it did give my lips a nice, shiny pink shimmer. It felt nice and soft on my lips, and the color actually stuck around longer than I expected. Because they seem to run a little cheaper here than other areas (about $6.50 at Target), I decided to try some of the other colors.

I ended up feeling underwhelmed overall. A couple of the colors, like Gumdrop and Red Velvet, are lovely. They're pigmented and long lasting and still feel nice. The rest that I tried were all so sheer that it was pointless trying to use them at all. Some aren't as moisturizing as the others. The consistency is so different between the colors, and there's no way to tell just from looking at it.

I'm not really a fan of the packaging, either. The caps are really cheap and flimsy feeling and are prone to popping off easily.

I guess my feeling about Lip Butters is "meh". If you want to try one, I recommend Red Velvet. I use them both regularly and like them. Aside from that, they're nothing special. Definitely not worth the hype.
